Holland Inn- Whirlpool Suites & Extended Stay — Hotel in Thornton Township

Do NOT go there. The older man at the front desk named David was so unprofessional, mean, and rude. He should not be working there. The way he talked to me was completely inappropriate and disrespectful. I killed him with kindness though. The 1st room he gave me was 111 it didn't have no locks on the inside of the door. IT IS NOT safe place at all. The rooms stink really bad. TGE 2ND room he gave me was 104. It was worst than the 1st 1. Everything was dirty and broken in the rooms. The carpet was filthy. The rooms have bed bugs and roaches. It only had 1 chain on the door no locks no deadbolt no nothing. I asked for a refund and told him I don't feel safe or comfortable here. First & last time visiting this establishment. I had to go to the office 3 times because there was no telephone cord connected to the phone in my 1st room, which had no light in the bathroom. The 2nd room I was sent to hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest. The 3rd room seemed to suffice for a quick shower and shave. It was a good thing that I had towels with me, because there was no towels in the room. After 3 minutes in the shower, the water was far above my ankles. 3 minutes later, the tub was full of water. I'm all about supporting business wherever I go. When I stay at a motel or hotel tell me a lot about the owners and if they value their business/property in this case no they don't care. The cleanliness is poorly done with mold in the bathroom, dust along baseboards, importantly the heat vents, also the carpet which needs to be thoroughly sanitized and vacuumed can cause people to become sick. Walking on the floor and my feet is black 🤦 the housekeepers aren't doing their job professionally. Y'all need to do better with the linen more pillows and...
