Indian River RV Park is a fantastic spot for rocket launch fans and foodies alike! Nestled along the Indian River, this park offers front-row seats to the frequent SpaceX, NASA, and ULA launches from Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, just 12-15 miles away. During my stay, I caught several SpaceX Falcon 9 launches, and watching them soar from the riverfront was absolutely thrilling. The roar of the lift-off and the glowing trail in the night sky is unforgettable. The park’s location, right off U.S. 1, is perfect for launch viewing, with unobstructed views east across the water toward the launch pads. It’s just a short walk to spots like Space View Park, one of the best free viewing areas in Titusville.
Beyond the launches, the location shines for its access to downtown Titusville’s dining scene. I loved grabbing fresh-baked pastries at Sunrise Bread Co., just a few blocks away. And Oh! The Smash burgers at Burger Rob are amazing! Playalinda Brewing Co. is also nearby for craft beer lovers (they even make their own root beer and it's tasty), also the Tree of Life Cuban Bakery is an absolute MUST for a Cafe con leche and an authentic Cuban sandwich. All these establishments are within walking distance from IRRV park.
Indian River RV Park is well-kept, with beautiful landscaping, full-hookup sites, great Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. The shaded, riverside sites added to the experience, making it a relaxing base for exploring nearby attractions like the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (only 15 minutes away). So. If you’re a space nerd and a foodie like me, this definitely is the...
Read moreGreat little gem spot to enjoy this part of Florida! Literally steps from Space View Park (look across the street and see the NASA building and rocket launches!). We saw several rocket launches, could see the water from the back of our RV! (We were in Site# 1, nice shade and a little extra grassy yard, concrete patio was shaded during the day). Owner of RV park was great, along with his staff. Very available if we had a question or needed help. Sites are all level and nestled in together. Someone there to help get you settled. Didn’t use restrooms but they were located in the middle of the park and include washer/dryers (coin operated). Walking distance to downtown restaurants, bakery, coffee shop. Within a couple miles are Publix, movie theater, more restaurants, pubs, ice cream! Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach within 30-45min drive with traffic, Orlando is about an hour away. Just walk out from your site and jump on the bike path! Just a bit off the path is a beautiful park, right on the River - great for dog walks!)! Lots of paved paths, kids playground, and lots of places to sit and watch the boats go by. My added pictures are all about the area as we loved having a quiet and secure place to park our motorhome where we didn’t need to worry about it, and spent lots of time exploring! We spent the month of February here and would ...
Read moreWe travel with my husband's job and came to the area very unannounced, during peak season. It was not the first park we called but only because I always start with closest to the address of husband's job site. Everything is full but thank God for Tait! Yes we are driving a little further to his job but he made sure to find a spot for us whereas other parks wouldn't even try! We literally gave him less than 24 hours notice of arrival and he worked us in! We have a view of the Indian River. I am here alone during the day while my husband works and have felt very safe. My dog and I have gotten out and explored the several parks around. There is a lot across the street that I take her and let her run and exercise. Also there is a dog park within walking distance!! She was able to play in the water right across the street and then have a day at the spa (to get cleaned up afterward) right here on the same block as the the RV park! Even tho we are having to drive a few extra miles to his job, (couldn't be helped) I am SOOOO blessed to have found this place and for sure will stay here again if we are in...
