Welcome to Titusville Sugar Shack! Glad you’re here! We decided to check them out the day after the 4th. They are in their first week of opening, so I’m giving them some grace. There are definitely some things that need to be worked on. When you first walk in, there is a little bit of confusion on where to order. The ordering section is literally as soon as you walk through the door vs the other end. Also I noticed there was a lot of miscommunication between the staff on who was supposed to do what. It’s an open space so voices carry and it can be very loud inside. One good thing is that you can smell the smoker as soon as you get out of your car so you know it’s the real deal. I ordered a 2 meat, 2 sides combo with peach habanero pork belly burnt ends, brisket, baked beans and dirty rice. My son got brisket, pulled pork, beans and Mac and cheese. The brisket was delicious! I didn’t use any BBQ sauce although their sauces are good. The burnt ends were good as well but they needed to be warmer as in temperature. Mine were barely lukewarm. I was disappointed with the pulled pork. I found it needed flavor and salt. Same thing with the dirty rice which was missing seasoning and salt. It was also a bit watery. The beans are hands down my favorite side. And my son enjoyed the Mac and cheese. Don’t skip the house made pickles and pickled onions. They offer 2 sauces one of which is mustard based. Both are good. Next visit we will try different things such as dessert, brisket elote and the ribs! Definitely check them out.

Saw this new bbq place opened last week, and they have been quite busy. Luckily I was able to stop in today during a slower time. Service was great, the people (owners I think?) running the place were very nice and welcoming. I ordered a 2 meat/2 side plate, going with brisket/pulled pork for meat and corn pudding/Mac and cheese for the sides. The brisket was amazing, perfect amount of salt and the pepper was also spot on. Had just the right amount of smoke imo. Pulled pork was also great, and I’d order both again in a heartbeat. I tried a couple bites of brisket with the classic bbq sauce, and it compliments it well if you want some sauce, and has an interesting background taste (cumin?) that’s actually good with the meat. My only gripe is the mustard based sauce is a little on the runny side, and I wish it had a stronger mustard punch, but it’s also good with the pork. Corn pudding and mac and cheese were also good, but the Mac and cheese was probably one of the best I’ve had in awhile. Like a smoked mac with bacon. Defiantly want to go back and try everything else. I’d recommend going with a friend and getting a large tray. Prices are beyond reasonable when you see how much food is included.

I tried out Sugar Shack BBQ, and it was well worth the trip. The first day I visited, I had to leave empty-handed since they were sold out. As a business, that’s a great problem to have, but it can be inconvenient for a customer. Nevertheless, I returned the next day and was able to order some items. The brisket was amazing, the pulled pork was good, and I got the end of the rack of ribs, which probably wasn’t as meaty as it could have been, but it happens. The much-talked-about peach habanero pork belly was sold out, but I learned through social media from the Sugar Shack BBQ team that it was back in stock. I paid another visit and got to try it. It had good flavor—not too sweet, though it could have been spicier—but I think they have to cater to the broader population. I’d love to see the addition of fried okra and maybe a third, spicier sauce for those of us who LOVE the heat. At the time of writing this review, I learned they were upgrading the sizes of the combos from 4oz to 6oz—great news. I’ll be returning to try the Brisket Elote.

I just got back from the grand opening at Sugar Shack BBQ. This is a "Texas style" bbq. Which means the rub is salt, pepper and garlic with oak smoke. I arrived a little before my wife. The first thing I noticed was the thin blue smoke coming from the pit. This says they have a good clean burning pit and good fire management. They were busy with a line waiting to order, I expected this on their first day being opened. I had to try my 3 favorite meats, pulled pork, ribs, single bite tender, and brisket. It came with two sides. I chose baked beans and Mac n cheese. My wife had pulled pork, ribs, baked beans and cole slaw. They had two bbq sauce choices. One was a "Carolina Gold sauce. The other was a tomato based sauce. I thought the tomato based sauce was very similar to the Tuffy Stone BBQ sauce I get at my local store. Both of the sauces were very good. I tried each of the meats first with no sauces. All three meats were tender, moist and flavorful. The carolina gold sauce was excellent on the pulled pork. The brisket was excellent without sauce but the tomato based sauce added a nice layer of flavor. I dont like Cole slaw, but my wife said her Cole slaw was excellent. We both really liked the baked beans. The mac n cheese was very good also. The meat servings and side are generous. I'm a big eater when it comes to bbq, but I had extra brisket to bring home for a nice sandwich later. I have eaten at every bbq restaurant in Titusville and also Crydermans in Cocoa. My honest opinion, Sugar Shack has better bbq. Hopefully, they maintain this quality of bbq. So if you are in the Titusville area and looking for some excellent "Teaxs style" BBQ, I highly recommend you stop in at...

Tried the three meal and two side combo today. In order of favorite I’d have to say it was Brisket, turkey, and burnt ends. All three were delicious and extremely tender, moist, and flavorful. We were able to slice through everything like butter with our plastic forks. The two BBQ sauces they offer are equally delicious. One was sweet and smokey and the other sweet and tangy. The smokey one complimented the brisket wonderfully and the tangy one was delicious with the turkey. We also had the tater tot casserole and the corn pudding and they were both outstanding! They also gave us two types of condiments, pickled onions and pickles, they were both so delicious and provided an amazing tanginess and crunch to the meal. The portion sizes were also on point. My husband and I shared the combo and got a large iced tea all for $30. We both had our fill and had enough left over for one person to have left overs. So basically $10 a meal. I think that is a great deal for some truly delicious BBQ. We both agreed that our favorite part of the meal was how much everything tasted “homemade”. Sometimes BBQ joints can feel heavy and oversaturated with spices and sauces, this was easy on the stomach but still had so much flavor. We own a smoker and agreed that this was so delicious and the price was so good that it would justify us going out to eat there even though we can make our own at home. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Very happy to have a new delicious and affordable option...
