i have been to the brix project 3 times now and looked forward to having lunch there for my birthday with my husband and my close friend. this was by far the worst experience of them all. first , my friend ordered a beer and disliked it. after taking 1 sip. the server took it back and replaced it with another beer that my friend had ordered in the past. it took 10 minutes to bring out another beer and after returning home i looked at the receipt and saw that we were still charged for the returned beer . secondly, the irish nachos ordered as an appetizer came out with the entrees. the nachos were cold and the cheese was cold and clumpy which means they sat there in the window and were not brought out when they were supposed to. my husband ordered a well done burger and well done fries, and repeated to the server that both needed to be well done. the burger came out with soggy lettuce and the fries were not well done they were undercooked. the food runner who delivered the burger brought him out another order of fries that were well done. my friend ordered a flatbread taco that tasted like" something she couldve gotten at taco bell", and i myself had ordered the salmon and cous cous salad and specifically asked for the dressing on the side..... the salad came out drenched in dressing. by this point we just wanted to finish up quickly and leave. the service and the quality of the food were way below average. if i had to recommend the brix project to anyone in the future i would say, Great place for pretzels and beer, and if your e going to sit outside to make sure you like smell of cigarette smoke and the sound of...
Read moreAfter our 3rd visit I figured it was time to write a review. I will say this is my wife's and I currently favorite brewery. The first 2 visits we tried a few different beers and always come back to the Hefeweizen. Being of German descent I love trying every breweries twist on this staple. They hit the nail on the head with their version. Our most resent visit happened to be peanut butter beer week. I will say I was disappointed that I could not get my go to. We embraced the peanut butter themed beers and got the 14 flavor flight and a growler togo, most were very very good. The only reason this place does not have 5 stars is some time the staff seems annoyed when asking question about the beers, regardless if its busy or slow the service is not very prompt and the soft pretzel is kinda a let down. Nothing noted above will prevent us from coming back. Will be in again shortly, hopefully the Hefeweizen will be back on tap! Highly recommend you...
Read moreGreat local brewery!
The beer is excellent, interesting, and there are many different styles to choose from. My favorite was the Pleasure Chest IPA.
The menu is small, but everything we tried was delicious! Our favorite was their Cuban sandwich.
The location is great, and the atmosphere is perfect!
The service was astounding. Our bartender/waiter was Kyle. He was amazing. He was the only person working the bar and tables, which were both very busy. He was literally running to each table to keep up, and he was SO attentive. He was doing the job of three people better than three people probably could have. I think he's probably the best bartender/waiter we've ever had. I was absolutely floored at the excellent service we received, despite it being busy and the bar/restaurant understaffed. Whatever he is being paid, he deserves at least double!
If we're ever in the area again, we'll...
