Mattress Firm West Babylon — Hotel in Town of Babylon

We have purcvhased several mattresses Freon Sleepys over the years. Now that they have been acquired by the conglomerate Mattress Firm our next purchases would be through the new owners. Many of the original staff still remains with MF.

This purchase was for a RV King sized mattress. So the measurements are different from a King or California King. The size is 72” Wide by 80” Long. That’s 4” shorter than a non-RV King.

Well they carry 3 versions of a memory foam construction. Also three thicknesses 8”, 10” and 12” We chose the 8” because we wanted a contour feel with very firm support. They had a sample of the 8” and the 10” in the store for us to try out. We presently have a Sleep Number Air mattress. Way too finicky and not firm supporting even when set at 100!

The sales staff was professional and very helpful as my wife and I jumped back and forth betwwwn samples. So we made the purchase and are now waiting for delivery.

So why only 4 stars? Well after we left the store my wife spotted a note on the invoice that started delivery before 8/11. TWO months! We’ll see if it comes within two weeks I’ll give them a five star rating.

These guys know their stuff and if you want to get a great mattress (they carry them all) and be assisted as if you were buying a house, from them give Mattress...

Excellent Customer Service and Great bed too! We went to the Melville location and Phil, who usually works at West Babylon store was the person who assisted us on our bed purchase. We went during the 4th of July sale and we pushed our delivery to August. When August came we found out Mattress Firm was out of the brackets for the our bed frame and headboard. Phil was there for us to ensure we were still happy even with our new delivery date. They pushed our delivery back a week but Phil made it up to us. Then the day before our new delivery date they were sold out of the adjustable bed we were supposed to receive, once again Phil was able to make it up to us even if they were out of the products we ordered and we received our beautiful new comfortable bed the day we were supposed to.

Also the two movers were excellent! They were extremely respectful of our home and we're very professional and courteous every step of the way. It was definitely an overall great shopping experience even with the hiccups because of the Excellent...

I've been to plent of matress firms in the last week and all of the associates are annoying, follow you around, and question you. Last night I went to this matress firm in West Babylon on montauk highway with no intent on actually buying since I'm moving to Florida in 5 days.. well the associate working was not like the other associates in different stores. He did all the right things and got me prices so good that I went ahead and ordered a full set to my new house. Nathaniel Raffloer was the person who helped me.. he asked what I wanted and did not bother me while I was looking at beds, he even asked if we were thirsty and brought out some refreshments for us without knowing if we were going to buy yet. Nathaniel is the type of employee that id like to see in all of the stores cause of how well he handled everything from the moment we stepped foot in there.. next time anyone of my friends or family is looking for any type of bed I will be sending them to Nate and I'd recommend anyone who reads this to go in there and ask for him.
