This has to be the worst hotel I have stayed at ever. First, we were told it was a no smoking room, The room reeked of cigarette smoke and every piece of furniture had cigarette burns on them. Good thing there was a Target next door so we could buy some air fresheners. There were holes in the wall, Bathroom fixtures and ceiling were rusted and moldy. The bathroom door would not close. The curtains did not fit the windows so you could not block out the outside lights to sleep. Only one light in the room worked. The bathroom fan was hanging by the wires. The pillows looked like something out of a baby’s crib. It looked like they took regular sized pillows and cut them in quarters. The list goes on and on. I was an IT consultant for over ten years I have stayed in more hotels and motels than I have at my home. I have stayed at no-tell motels in backwoods North Dakota that were in better conditions than this place. ||||They need to update their website. There may have been a restaurant on site at one time, but it's not there now. Pulling into the parking lot you can see a huge hole in the roof above the "Water Park". Walking into the lobby if you look to left there is an electrical outlet hang by its wires. How this hotel is allowed stay in business is beyond me. The electrical code violations alone should allow the town to close this place down. ||||There is no security here. All side doors are unable to close or are propped open so anyone can enter at will. Also noticed on our floor and the floor my daughter was on; several rooms had their doors blocked open. I have never seen this many doors blocked open. ||||My daughter’s rooms were not much better. Her door lock did not work. The sofa in one room was broken. It looked like something they picked up on the side of the road. She did not dare use the shower due to the rust and mold. Her son went and stayed with his coach in the hotel across the road. When she asked about access to the water park, the staff could not speak English enough to explain anything other than it was an additional charge.||||We were here for a youth baseball tournament and were seriously looking to move to one of the hotels across road but were told they were full. Besides we had paid over $400 for 3 rooms and no way would we get our money back. The next day at the game we talked with parents who stayed at one of the hotels across the road, they paid about the same or less and had no complaints about their rooms or service. This is a double black eye on the Quality Inn chain and to the...
Read moreI have been visiting and staying here for at least a decade. Our last visit was in 2020 or 2021 and everything was normal. When you walk in, there are arcade games and it’s a ton of fun. I just had a visit last night and now EVERYTHING is gone when you first walk in. The carpet was replaced with that cheap lenoleum fake grey wood flooring and it’s totally empty other than a few randomly placed, stained chairs and damaged tables that look like they were picked from the side of the road. The ceiling tiles are falling apart or sagging and stained yellow and brown. The walls are dirty and in bad shape to where they need more than just paint. The elevator buttons don’t light up/are broken so you never know if the elevator is working or not. The hallways to the rooms have carpet that is also stained. Also, the hallways smell like cigarette smoke which was disgusting. The room itself was dingy and the mattresses and carpet are horribly stained but the room was a good size. The heat also didn’t work so we were freezing all night and they didn’t have any blankets when we asked for one for the pullout couch mattress. What kind of hotel doesn’t have blankets stocked in their closets?? Or at the very least, at the front desk when asked?? We slept horribly and woke up this morning for the “deluxe breakfast”. It’s no longer served in the fun restaurant like in photos. That’s closed. They serve it right at the front desk as people walk in. And LITERALLY all they had was dry cereal, granola bars and some bananas. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with breakfast that didn’t have the standard eggs, bagels, bacon, waffle maker, juices, etc… so we had to go to McDonalds for breakfast! I saw a sign at the front desk that said “This inn is owned and operated by Park Road Hospitality under franchise from Choice Hotels International, Inc.” So it seems another entity has taken over and ruined the entire place. I tried calling the franchise owner and couldn’t find a working phone number so I called Choice Hotels just to get a foreign representative that said “thanks for calling and letting us know” without even asking for the location or any details so it’s clear that Choice Hotels doesn’t care, either. We are really sad to have lost such a great place. They also used to have concessions in the water park. They no longer do that, either. The photos shown are NOT accurate and are definitely computer generated. It’s not at all how the place looks and never has looked in...

The electrical code violations alone should allow the town to close this place down. To the owners, you need to stay at your hotel and then go stay at any of your competitors hotels and understand what comfort, cleanliness, and safety is all about. Or, it is time to sell to someone who is willing to restore the hotel or just tear it down and build a car wash. This is a double black eye on the...
