An interesting concept with some great aspects and some flaws but most important for now, it is a new hotel and therefore clean.||The bedsheets are not the usual crisp & cool cotton but are soft, smooth, blend. Not my liking but maybe yours.|||pros|-clean and new|-accross from whole foods and starbucks|-incredibly cheerful and helpful person working |-comfortable mattress no boxspring|-As sparse an environment possible, while still meeting basic necessities|-A mostly smart design with some stupid decisions (eg refrigerator, toilet light)|-coffee, tea, cookies, fruit (apples/oranges) available 24/7|-clean air, no major dust collectors|-there is a soft light from under the platform bed (switch located bedside)|-Generally a crisp and clean white design.||cons|-sink outside toilet|-bathroom light switch outside the toilet area and combined with noise of exhaust fan. (this means if you go in the middle of the night, the light and sound will bother the other person in your room - you need to turn on the fan and light before going inside)|-The refrigerator has a glass front so you can see that it is stocked with beverages. The light is always on and at the foot of the bed. (use a pillow to cover it. A towel will not do.)|-If you are a large person beware. The door to the toilet is narrow as is the...
Read moreDear Oakfield Hotel & Suites Team,
I was in town for just one night—but I was truly blown away. From the fresh renovations to the cozy, well-designed rooms and genuinely welcoming staff, everything about my stay exceeded expectations. The comfy beds, sleek bathrooms, great TV setup, and 24-hour coffee were all thoughtful touches that made a big impression.
And I’ll be honest—I’m very picky when it comes to hotels. But Oakfield absolutely delivered :).
The only hiccup was when I tried calling the front desk around 8:30–9:00pm and couldn’t get through. The hotel seemed very quiet that evening, so it felt a little bizarre and inconvenient not to reach someone. Thankfully, it didn’t affect my overall experience—but I wanted to mention it just in case it’s helpful for your team to know.
As someone who regularly shares travel and lifestyle content, I’d love to come back and capture the full weekend experience. If you're open to it, I’d be happy to write a glowing review and create engaging social media content in exchange for a complimentary stay. I can highlight the design, amenities, and overall vibe to help bring more visibility your way.
Thanks again for a great first impression—and I hope it’s not the...
Read moreOverall we had a great time at Oakfield! The hotel was immaculate, we enjoyed the 24/7 access to water and ice and coffee, tea, and snacks in the lobby. The rooms were small but clean and beds were comfortable.||A few things you should be aware of:|1. There is no elevator in the building so if you have movement challenges I would call ahead to be sure you’re booking a room on the first floor. The lack of elevator made it difficult even for us with a child and our heavy bags.|2. The website advertises a mini-fridge and it’s actually a mini-bar. The food we brought went bad because we didn’t have anywhere to put it because we worried if we took the drinks out we would be charged.|3. The sink is outside the bathroom in the room. We enjoyed this because we can brush teeth or dry hair etc while other family members are in the toilet or taking a shower, but from reading other reviews I guess this bothers some people. ||Overall my issues were not big enough to warrant anything other than a 5. For the price point it was the best place I’ve stayed in a very long time and will probably be coming back next time we visit. I can’t emphasize enough how clean it was and that really made the experience...
