Usually I don't rate restaurants but this is an overrated unauthentic restaurant. I paid $70+ for 4 orders of rice and gyro. Kids did not eat the rice as it didnt taste good. Owner lady at cashier was rude and unwelcoming. Server wanted to discount as we where not taking any of the veggies and sauces and she rudely said everything costs me money I cant offer discounts. Right to my face when I walked to the cashier. She could have waited till I leave or tell him when he asked her discreetly while I was still looking at the menu far away. Sadly Pittsford residents dont know that there are far more authentic tasting food in Rochester if they search or ask middle eastern people. I will never walk my kids into an establishment that make sure to demean a person so rudley infront while there are kids.
Actually I did not ask for the promaganate. The kids made a comment about it and your nice server offered it in a small ketchup container not a cup. Didnt eat it as well as it was put for decoration and not covered so I didnt want to be rude to your nice server and not take it. Manners are important. And you just confirmed that you where rude to my face infront of the...
Read moreThe food is good. My mom got the salad bowl and loved it! I had the gyro pita and it was pretty good- not very flavorful though BUT it stayed folded tight and didn’t fall apart - that was great! Someone in the group got chicken wings- I tasted one and it was very tasty! Though the plate was JUST chicken wings- no sauce or veggies or anything on the platter that was a disappointment. They should have read the menu more closely I guess- so a warning to you if that’s what you order.
What I will gripe about is the service. It has plenty of dine in seating and is pretty kid friendly- but the ordering is assembly line style akin to chipotle- but it is not efficient. Those taking the orders also cook the food and ring it up. It’s not all just simple bowls and pitas, these folks are making pizzas, chicken wings &c... YES it’s to order and super fresh:) but it is sloppy service. The workers are VERY friendly so that’s good. While we were there, one of the patrons had a medical emergency, and the staff handled it very quickly and kindly. So I’m not at all griping about the service of the staff- just the inefficiency of their method. Maybe they will get a better...

My husband and I have now been to Basha Mediterranean Eatery twice, and each time we’ve left not only full but genuinely uplifted. From the moment you walk in, the staff treat you like family, offering thoughtful suggestions, and then helping carry your tray to the table, and doing it all with a level of care and enthusiasm that’s hard to find anywhere else.
The service is incredibly efficient and seamless, but never rushed or impersonal. It’s clear the team takes pride in both the food and the experience they offer. And speaking of food: everything we’ve tried has been delicious. It’s fresh, flavorful, and a healthier option than most fast-casual spots in town. Their coffee is also excellent—strong, smooth, and perfect for fueling a casual work meeting or a quiet afternoon catch-up.
We couldn’t resist taking home three desserts, and as we sit on the couch enjoying them, it honestly feels like we never left. That’s the kind of place Basha is—it stays with you. We’re already looking forward to...
