I must say that the associates are impeccably impressive!!
The manager was so involved with the item availability and shelf replenishment that one would hesitate to disturb the focused flow of managerial pride.
The service exceeded the expectations of customer service guidelines. I was Highly Impressed. The emaculate surfaces were impeccably well kept.
The vegetables along with the poultry and meats were well maintained.
The prices are more than acceptable. The worth superseded the cost.
The 4 out of 5 stars is solely due to the sectional layout of the items in the store. The set-up reminded me of a department store. The items were categorized more by use than by content.
It appeared that an aisle by aisle shop would be a lot easier than a self made categorized list of needed items. This is due to the wide variety of branded products and extreme ability to stretch a dollar. Your cart will contain much more than anticipated.
As with any supermarket chain, Store Brands are more reasonably priced. Store Brands tend to have a more at home preparation with consumers as opposed to profit in mind.
Make Aldi your first stop shop! I am certain it will leave you more...
Read moreAldis owned by same company as Trader Joes. You walk. In and are never quite sure which brands and which products they’re going to have in stock. If you go there one day and you find that you pick something up and he really really liked it when you go back three weeks later to replace it and buy some more sorry we don’t carry that on a normal basis. Prices are very good but of course you have to be price conscious of what you can get things at other stores check the expiration labels on items. The way the stores organize this kind of complicated and convoluted but they’re supposed to be a renovation or redo there shortly.I don’t like the checkout area we sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a cash register to open there were no cash rest just doors open at all in a line quickly forming. Because they don’t bag your groceries and you have to box or bring your own bags you do get checked out quickly so once they decided to honor us with a couple of cashiers everyone got out of there shortly. A good place to buy bargains and to buy things that you know they’re going to have but you still need to go to a regular grocery store to pick up your basics and things...
Read moreThis location is gorgeous. I initially rated it four stars, because it is so off the beat and path, to get to the nearest location I either have to drive fifty minutes to Middletown, to a less superior location, or 45 min. to the Stony brook location. I choose Stony Brook because this store is PERFECT, It is so clean, and the staff there is AMAZING.
However, My message is for CORPORATE, Not this location. There needs to be more Aldi in NYS and North NJ. I lived in Ocean/Monmouth Counties where everything is close and easy to get to.. and there are so many Aldi, I could choose from several easy locations to get to.
Upstate is different - everything is spread out - mountains, and it makes absolutely no sense that Aldi is not taking advantage and placing more stores up in this area. The population is here, the people need to shop, but they are not expanding in the area like they did down the shore in NJ.
PLEASE open more stores in NJ. There is a vacant Store in West Milford NJ that was once an A&P supermarket sitting empty ... it would make an amazing location it would definitely generate a lot of money since the people...
