Starting the morning the Lebanese way 🇱🇧🥖☀️ We found the perfect hidden gem in Tysons, VA — The Block Oven — and it’s honestly a breakfast lover’s dream. From warm, freshly baked manakeesh straight out of the oven, to creamy hummus, golden fried cheese, and hearty foul that tastes just like it’s made back home, every dish is packed with flavor and tradition. The smell of fresh thyme and cheese hits you as soon as you walk in, and every bite feels like comfort food with a Mediterranean twist. 🌿🧀🥒 Whether you’re craving something light or ready to dive into a full spread, this spot serves up all the classics and so much more. Highly recommend if you’re in the Tysons area and want to slow down, share plates, and experience a true Lebanese-style breakfast right here in Virginia. 🫶🍴 #lebanesecuisine #tysonscorner #washingtondc #food #dmvfoodie

Highly disappointing experience, especially as a Marriott Bonvoy member with long-standing status staying at Marriott hotels for over 25 years. Initial room's bathroom was in poor repair: water stains on the ceiling, an ancient tub with scale on the bottom and a broken floor drain. In the morning I learned that the sink had no working hot water, forcing me to shave with cold water and the shower unit in the tub was faulty, Sprayed water from the knob, leading to a dribbling shower head. When I notified the front desk that morning they said they could make a note and move me when I returned to the hotel and would have a different room ready. Coming back to the hotel late from meetings and dinner, the front desk had no idea of my issue or concerns- due to no note. Additionally the staff was indifferent to my issue, never apologized and just handed me a key to a new room. Luckily this one functioned fine and the ancient tub wasn't as dirty, but again, had a broken drain plug. It's very unfortunate that a once nice hotel from a reputable brand has given up on the concept of service recovery or even training staff to acknowledge a guest issue and apologize for the inconvenience. I wasn't expecting and upgrade to a suite, but at least a "I'm sorry"'would have been appreciated. Lots of newer hotels in the area may be a better choice for the quality of service and condition of the room.

🌟 5-Star Review: The Westin Tysons Corner 🌟 Just wrapped up an amazing stay at The Westin Tysons Corner, and I have nothing but great things to say! From the moment I arrived, it was clear this hotel pays attention to the details. The room was super neat and spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax. The lighting was perfect, setting a cozy yet modern vibe that made the space feel really welcoming. Service was top-notch too—staff was always friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of during my stay. For all my fitness lovers out there, the gym is excellent, and yes, they have Peloton bikes! It’s rare to find a hotel gym this well-equipped, so I was super impressed. And if you’re in the area for work or leisure, the location couldn’t be more convenient. Close to shopping, dining, and all the essentials. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend if you’re in the Tysons Corner area. 🏨✨ #WestinTysonsCorner #LuxuryStay #PelotonHotel #HotelReview

Upon arrival, it was nice. The only nice person was the 1st lady who greeted us at the desk. She even asked if we needed assistance with our bags to our rooms. However, it all went down hill from there. i came all the way from FL driving and I've never expected this to be the worst trip ever. That night there was a storm and granted they weren't prepared for mother nature, but so much more could have been done. I understand that things have gotten chaotic, but there is no way by any means that the staff needed to unleash their frustration out at the guests. After all we're still paying customers. The power went out, there was no air condition in the middle of a heatwave. We had no running water. The kitchen was closed. It was absolutely horrible. I would have had a better night's rest sleeping in my car. The next day, still no power. They had their generator attached to certain equipment. We had one working elevator and my room was on the 10th floor out of 11. Still no running water. Can't flush the toilets. Can't shower. They offered one shower each for both men and women in the hotel down in the locker rooms. The water was ice cold. I had a baby with me and I didn't even dare let her bathe in that. My friend (also staying at the hotel) had to get her hair done in the back office in some warehouse looking section of the hotel since there was no power. Their whole attitude was that well it was nature's fault, nothing we can do about it so too bad. Well not too bad. Horrible Horrible customer service. They didn't even clean the rooms for the entire time I was there. There was still light (even if it was natural through the windows). There's a things called windex, lysol, n paper towels that don't require water to clean. They never made my bed or brought fresh towels and when I was ready for check out making sure I packed all my things, I found a pair of underwear behind the chair in the corner that was neither mine or my husbands. Beyond gross. Wonder if they ever clean? I would never stay at this hotel and wouldn't suggest to anyone to either. Very poor on their part. If i could have actually selected no stars I would have. I felt soooo sorry for the bride and groom. They apologized way more than the staff at Westin whom didn't even say sorry once....

I decided to treat my 7 year old to a fun weekend getaway during DC Kite Festival and chose this hotel for it’s proximity to the metro station and pool which my son requires if we stay anywhere. I had stayed here before and despite the nickel and diming of things like paid parking, extra for in room WIFI, I decided to choose this hotel because room service and food is excellent and convenient, and for the pool. But it wasn’t until we were trying to get to the pool that we were told it was closed 2 months earlier to make room for yet MORE Meeting and conference rooms. They already have the hotel with more than enough meeting rooms but apparently making more money for conferences is their priority versus families or those with children enjoying their stays. Most 4 star hotels offer a pool so this was disappointing and misleading on the booking web sites. We were given a different quality of room this time once they saw I had our 2 family dogs. It was not nearly as nice a room as the one I had a few months ago, the room seemed older, musty and the Ac didn’t work for hours until maintenance came to fix it that night. The bed had a huge brown stain on its sheets which housekeeping replaced but that is just unacceptable. No one on staff offered any sort of consolation or comp for anything for the issues of a dirty bed, non working A.C., etc. The room service was best part, really, excellent food. It’s expensive with a 22% gratuity automatically added plus $3 delivery fee and yet each service each time gives you a look if you don’t STILL don’t add even MORE on the tip line. For eggs and bacon and French toast with juice and coffee pot, it was $67! So be prepared. When adding $10 parking fee, $15 internet charges well it all adds up to seem like a lot for a simple room and no real amenities. Customer service was fine enough but I just feel it’s an average hotel with above average costs...better to become an event company than a hotel if hotels can’t cater to all types of guests who may come and want something other thAn a meeting room to hang out in. #dakinigoddessofmarrakech...
