It was 6:00 pm and there was a HUGE line and there was not enough staff helping the customers at the registers. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that the manager was putting price tags on shoes and when I asked the young lady what her manager’s name was she told me her name is Grazia. Well, turns out Grazia was NOT helping the customers at the register. It’s unbelievable to see that a MANAGER was not helping ANY of the customers who were waiting in line. Whoever hired this manager to work at this store made a HUGE mistake. After standing in line for 45 minutes waiting to be helped I noticed that Grazia didn’t give a shit about any of the customers who were standing in line. She was ignoring all of us customers the whole time I was standing in line. Nordstrom, is this the kind of person you all want working for you? You have an incompetent person who doesn’t do her job working for you. The fact that she ignored us customers is UNPROFESSIONAL. What a shame!!! I even got the impression she thought it was okay for all of us to stand in line that long. She doesn’t care about giving exceptional customer service. She doesn’t care because it’s not her money. Have generally been able to consistently purchase quality designer items at 10-40% of retail. Best to go during week and during the daytime hours ideally as they are packed most days on weekend days turning over a considerable amount of inventory. My general rule is to start at clearance section(s) and work my way back to "regular" sale or discounted items. Organization not always the best but yielded favorable results for me on multiple occasions so truly can not complain. Read moreI used to shop in this store for the past 10 years and have to say that the quality of selection and service steadily declined in the past 3 years. My last and possibly final experience was awful. The cashier was not able to figure out the transaction and after waiting for 35 minutes for the manager on duty (who I am fairly certain was not on location) I gave up. I think the whole Nordstrom rack chain declined and is now comparable with TJX chain in terms of merchandise selection but TJX runs tight ship with fair prices and good management.
