Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) — Local services in Tysons

Bank of America's Platinum benefits are second to none, but they pale in comparison to the service I received in my most dire of situations.

On Saturday July 17th, I was scheduled to close on a house and needed to wire funds. Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to set an appointment to make the necessary wire transfer.

That morning I arrived at the branch at 1934 Old Gallows Rd in Vienna, Virginia. After asking for assistance, Sahar Austinson and Nasila Sultani informed me they were completely booked for the day. The only words I could utter were "I need to get this done today" with a piercing stare. They began calling other branches who were unfortunately also completely booked. Sahar and Nasila quickly reviewed their list for the day and moved resources to work things out. They quickly began working with me to complete the wire. Even though I wasn't the most pleasant person at that time, their calm demeanor helped put me at ease. I always felt I was in good hands and needn't worry.

While going through the process, there was a bump in the road but Sahar and Nasila were dedicated and found a way to make things work. Sitting in front of their desk, I felt guilty for getting so much of their time and their unwavering attention. At the end, my guilty feeling was exasperated when they apologized for the bump and waived my transaction fee. I was absolutely floored. I would have happily paid extra for my lack of preparation. The concept of paying nothing was something that took me a few minutes and questions to comprehend. I had never and will likely never feel that type of customer satisfaction again.

As I'm writing this in my new home, I know my house will serve as a constant reminder of the undeserved service that day. Regardless of what happens in the future, I will be forever grateful and be a loyal customer because of...

The Bank of America in Vienna, VA handles all of my business needs in a quick, friendly, efficient manner, with the care and genuine grace of a 5 star hotel. I visited the branch today for the third time since opening my account, and each team member I encountered had an equally if not more friendly and helpful air about them than the first day I walked in. In particular, George helped me secure my account, updated information, and clarified questions that I had; he was the consummate professional. I have been a Bank of America customer all of my life. I have fond memories of going to the bank with my parents as a kid and savoring the lollipops at the teller line. The lollipops (and much of my hair!) may be long gone, but what hasn’t changed is the banks commitment to customer service. This is the best branch I have ever been in. Hands down!
