Neisha Thai is a restaurant that offers a decent dining experience with a few notable strengths and weaknesses. Let's break down the key aspects of the restaurant:

• Service: The staff and waiters at Neisha Thai are friendly, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Their friendliness adds to the overall dining experience and makes customers feel valued.
• Ambience and Atmosphere: The ambiance of the restaurant can be described as average. The decor is pleasant, with good lighting, albeit on the darker side. This can create a cozy and intimate setting, although it may not be to everyone's taste.

Read moreI made a reservation for an event I planned to host at Neisha Thai (as my organization had done many years prior) for ~25 people and had to call the restaurant and follow up multiple times to confirm the reservation/event. Each time I called, I was assured everything was fine but that the catering manager would call me to confirm the menu I had emailed the restaurant. I never once received a call from the catering manager despite calling, texting, and leaving multiple messages for her. I did receive an email from her earlier in the week confirming that she received the menu and listing a price per person for it, but when I called the restaurant the day of the event, they still acted like they didn't know who I was and why I was calling. They then contacted the catering manager who said there was a "communication error" and my reservation was not made (despite me calling to confirm it at least 4 times). The restaurant called me back to say they were already full and couldn't host our group (with people driving from out of town) 7 hours prior to the scheduled dinner (which I wouldn't have known had my spidey senses not told me to call back AGAIN to confirm the menu the day of). I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism, coordination, communication, and organization that I experienced trying to book this event with Neisha Thai. They left us without a venue the day of the event and weren't even going to tell me until we all showed up there, which would have been extremely embarrassing and chaotic. My organization and I will never host another event at this restaurant and I highly recommend that others do not either. Super disappointing, as we have never had issues like this in the past.
*Editing in response to add that I called your restaurant repeatedly (5+ days) asking to speak to your catering manager (after her email was sent) and despite being told she would call me back multiple times, she never did. Her email went to my spam folder, which I why I continued calling to no avail. I was told when I first called your restaurant that the event was booked (no one said I had to confirm a menu before booking the reservation) and followed up about the menu via phone and email days after that. I was always respectful to your staff, so I do not think it's fair to suggest I was not because I wrote a review online to warn people what a mess it was trying to book an event with you. Happy Holidays to...
Read moreWent for a date night with my boyfriend, I was very excited to try this place out because my friends recommended this many times. I can’t really say it lived up to the hype... at all
We ordered vegetable spring rolls, triangle shape fried tofu, vegetable green curry, and the tiger steak
Atmosphere 5/5 - Place was well decorated. Pleasant surroundings
Service - 2/5 - I ran out of water while eating spicy food, and was coughing. I thought I was showing signs of distress but I guess it wasn’t clear enough because.. Our server was no where to be found, another server came by with cold water and asked if my water was room temperature water and I said yes and then he walks away. No one came back to refill my water. We had 3 servers near the end of service, help us with cleaning up the plates, asked us multiple times (once from each server) if we wanted anything else, and asked us multiple times if we wanted our checks, and gave us 2 copies of our check. Didn’t seem like service was well planned out.
Food - 1/5 - The food was okay, but not worth going back for. Much better Thai food at 9 Pad Thai in Springfield. Nothing special about the appetizers - the vegetables spring rolls had a bug walk out of the carrots, the tofu had no seasoning with a “peanut sauce” that was actually a sweet and sour sauce with pieces of peanuts which makes me question why it’s called a peanut sauce, my vegetable green curry was ok. I asked to get brown rice instead but they did not tell me it would cost extra or I wouldn’t have asked for it since I wasn’t planning to eat most of it, the tiger steak was a great disappointment to my boyfriend since it was a special menu order- the steak was cold and the “sticky” rice was had and inedible- he said it was as if someone had sent it back and they left it sitting there. He did not feel good after eating it and this ruined out date night because he was on the toilet afterwards.
Maybe we were just unlucky that night because everyone else seemed to have enjoyed themselves from the look of these reviews. I am leaving the extra star because some of the servers that helped us was were very friendly. Management and host should...
