Title: A Pleasant Stay at Baymont Inn
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5)
Review:
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baymont Inn during my business trip, and overall, I had a positive experience. The hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay, with a few minor areas for improvement.
First and foremost, the staff at Baymont Inn was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They greeted me with a warm smile upon arrival and swiftly checked me in. They were knowledgeable about the local area and offered helpful suggestions for dining options and nearby attractions. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay, thanks to their excellent customer service.
The room I stayed in was clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of work. The amenities provided were satisfactory, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable and allowed me to stay connected and productive during my stay.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel. The breakfast spread was diverse and included both hot and cold options. From fresh fruits and cereals to eggs, sausages, and pastries, there was something to suit everyone's taste. The breakfast area was well-organized and clean, creating a pleasant dining experience.
The location of Baymont Inn was convenient, with easy access to major highways and nearby attractions. It was a short drive away from restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options, making it a convenient base for both business and leisure travelers.
In conclusion, my stay at Baymont Inn was enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel's friendly staff, clean rooms, and complimentary breakfast made for a pleasant experience overall. Baymont Inn has the potential to be an even more exceptional choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again in the future and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and reasonably priced...
Read moreThree different female desk clerks were stoic, bland, unsmiling i.e. perfunctory. One wore an untucked t-shirt. Even though wet area like pool & hot tub were out of service my request for a room upgrade was denied while hotel had few guests. Cleaning lady of breakfast area etc was the best hardest hotel worker I have ever seen and the only warm & friendly staff at hotel. After checking-in my husband & I went hotel room shopping & found somewhere else to stay on our upcoming trips to this area. Breakfast had no fresh fruit like bananas or oranges. I felt one of three female deskclerks especially the tall & thin one was obviously unappreciative of the extremely hard working older worker cleaning breakfast area on hands and knees when that deskclerk questioned her activities and planned work agenda i.e. sounded like she had no idea of this great workers regular daily routine and merely wanted to assert herself over this older cleaning lady. No smile no good reaction to her when cleaning lady listed off everything she was doing, planned to do, including on other floors . . . as usual it sounded. And yet cleaning lady showed great respect & consideration for that desk clerk when I commented on this deskclerks overall sad demeaner during our stay so far. Positive & loyal attitude all the way ;) BTW WYNDHAM chain of hotels is our favorite and one reason is they all keep cookies at front desk whereas this place only had an empty case for them and only for a few minutes was the cookie case there at all i.e. we were on main floor and walked by front...
Read moreWhen we first walked into our room it reeked of weed. Like whoever was there before us must have smoked right before checking out. My issue is that no attempt was made to air the room out. The window was shut when we walked in. There was an air filter machine sitting on the countertop, but it was not plugged in, as if someone brought it in and forgot to turn it on. My husband went to ask if there were any other rooms available, and the staff member let us know there were not. She also said that the air filter machines were unable to be used in rooms where guests were checked on and that she would have to take it. She came to remove the machine and agreed the smell was really overwhelming. She did offer us a bottle or fabric refresher spray, but what we wanted was an odorless room, not perfume over weed. I understand that these things happen, but I do feel like it was very inappropriate not to offer a discount on the room due to the offensive smell... I would feel different about it if there were a faint smell... overall I feel like the staff dropped the ball and left a bad taste in my mouth. Other then this instance of poor customer service, the hotel was nice...good location to the casino and the breakfast was good.
I see another reviewer was charged $200 for smoking in their room..... truthfully I feel like part of that fee should be discounted from my bill since I'm one who had to deal with the stank. In the future I think I would spend my money at an establishment that does their best to right...
