Super 8 by Wyndham Upland Ontario CA — Hotel in Upland

It was honestly one of the most disgusting hotels I have been in in a long time. When I arrived the office was not open, the sign said go to 'Night Window' to check in & it was 5 pm. When I ring the bell a woman comes to the window & says "We're full!" I said I had a reservation, she replies with "Yeah but we're full." So I responded asking why I was able to book a room the night before on the Wyndham website for the hotel if there was no availability? She cocks her head at me, rolls her eyes & says "Hold on, let me check." She comes back to the window with a key card saying she only had one room available on the bottom floor in the back. I ask if it's the same room I booked & she asked me to pull my reservation up, I show it to her & she says, "yeah, queen room, same thing." She has me sign a printed receipt & initial where it talks about the hold, the paper says $50 but there is a printed paper taped to window saying the hold is $100. I reluctantly take the key card & we go to our room. This was a joke. On the way to the room we witnessed 2 different drug deals & when we get to the door, you could see it had been obviously kicked in multiple times, the door jam was completely broken. We go inside & the smell that hit us was horrible, a mixture of bleach & month old laundry. I booked a room with a fridge, microwave, queen bed, hairdryer, the normal amenities & there was no fridge, microwave, hairdryer, anything... The bed was atrocious. The sheets were shredded like a cat had shredded them, there were blood & urine stains all over the mattress, the pillows smelled of sweat. It was bad. The bathroom was missing caulking all around the tub & top of shower, the drain was completely corroded & green with the drain plug no where in sight. The toilet & the shower head had some type of body hair on them. The vents were rusted & super dusty. Again the smell was just so bad you couldn't stay in the bathroom that long. The real kicker about the bathroom were the roaches.. just crawling through the missing caulking on the tub... There was water damage all over the room above the bed. There also was a connecting door to the next room that we weren't aware of beforehand, it also did not lock properly. I truly felt if I had stayed there, I was being set up to be robbed or have my room broken into, where they have little printed paper taped to the night window stating they're not responding for any theft of room or...

Ther hotel it self was good no frills in nice area lots of shopping and restaurants. However the man who checked me in made me feel uncomfortable made a comment about no boyfriend with me cause he could see just girls in my car N after checking me in said something about coming to my room. I thought due to his strong Indian accent I may have misunderstood him. Not even 2 mins in my room he called the room asking if everything was OK n working I said yes thanks u then he said it again I will go to ur room later I k ow I didn't misunderstand him I said No everything was fine Thank u n hung up. We left to eat right after it was just me my daughters n grand daughter not even 30 mins gone he took my cell number for the reservation and called me asking if I was staying at hotel I said I already paid n checked in then he asked what time are u coming back to ur room I go see u in room. At that point I hung up my girls n I felt very unsafe so I called hotels.com N explained to them what was going on n that I would not be going back there not even to check out for fear of my safety n my girls. They are trying to get my refund. This man as even called my cell phone 3 days later. He took a photo copy of my ID when checking in and my fear is now he has my address. My girls are scared to even be home alone cause what happened N the fact that he has tried to contact me on my cell days after this happened. It's a very scary experience for all of us.
