I came here to get a nail fill. I usually go to Stacy’s lashes, but they were closed. I came here and it appeared to be closed, but there was a sign on the door Asking for customers to call for more information. So I called and they had me go through the back door, which I thought was odd, but I was just so glad to get an appointment considering everywhere else is closed and my nails were starting to look like trash. I went in on January 5, 2021, today is January 13, 2021. It has only been eight days and my nails are completely falling apart. I asked for coffin style, square shaped nails. In no way shape or form are these coffin style, square shaped nails. They are extremely lumpy throughout. Some of the nails are crooked, and I tried to point that out to her, but she blamed it on my previous nail technician. Which I found to be highly unprofessional, completely inaccurate, and insulting. My regular nail technician leaves my nails looking flawless every single time. If he were to put a nail on crooked, he makes it look like it never happened.
Initially, I was not going to make a negative review. I just wanted to be done and over with it, but now that my nails are falling apart after eight days, I’m a little aggravated. I’d like to share my horrible experience. I don’t think anybody should waste their time going here. At one point she cut into my skin as she was filing my nails, and I mentioned that it was beginning to burn, and she insisted that she did not cut me. As I was driving home I realized I was bleeding.
The nails I requested were very simple. The jewel formation I requested was very simple. It took her two hours to complete a nail fill. I explain to her multiple times how I wanted the jewel formation, and I even showed her a picture. She was still unable to complete the task. To add insult to injury, my nails are now completely falling apart. My nail technician would never do me this dirty.
The initial cost of the nail fill was $28.00. To add Jewels to two fingers was an additional $6.00. In total this cost me $34.00. I will generally tip my nail technician $20.00, but I only tipped her $11.00, which I now regret.
I don’t care if there’s not a single salon open in the state of California, I will never...
Read moreThis was my 3rd visit to US Nail & Spa, as my two previous visits were positive. I walked into the salon expecting to pay around $35 for a dip manicure. I sat in the nail technician's chair for over an hour while she did my nails, and she never uttered a word about charging me extra money to remove old nail polish from my last previous visit, and also charging me extra because my natural nails are long ( my natural nails are less than 3/4 inch long.) I go to the front to pay and the guy told me I owed $49! I was shocked. He said they're charging me $7 to remove nail polish and $2 because my natural nails are long. No where in the salon states that they charge extra to remove old nail polish and they charge extra for nail length. What am I paying $40 for if removing nail polish and caring for my natural nails isn't included in the price! They're looking to Nickle & dime you for anything which violates consumers rights. This time Wendy did a lousy job on my nails. My nails are all different lengths and shapes, and the polish is lumpy. She didn't even put the hot towel or lotion on my hands after my service was finished, and they had the audacity to charge me $49. I always tip 15% I'm always respectful and this is how I'm treated. Do not spend your money here. They violated my consumer rights with unfair pricing practices. The Yelp review are true. Don't get your nails done here they don't value...
Read moreI am so pissed off right now. I'm more pissed at the fact that I didn't notice how bad my nails were until I just came home. Today I went to go get my nails done here and needless to say my pedicure and full set look thrown together. The people who did my pedicure did a good job shaping and taking away the cuticles... but the nail polish was thrown on. I brought my own nail polish in holographic powder. The person who did my nails, I think his name is Johnny did not know how to apply the powder on the nail that I wanted it to be on. I had to tell him how to do it and he did not apply it correctly. Not to mention that he spilled the powder that I brought which was $20. There is also acrylic that is too far down the nail bed and into the cuticles. Also, there were gaps at the base of my big toe in index toe. When I came home and saw the abomination on my hands I noticed that the holographic nails were starting to wash off. I also tried to fix my big toes and in the process of doing that I missed them up in my index finger on my left hand got a little spot of nail polish taken off while trying to fix my feet. My nails were rushed and I am extremely pissed. Today is March 18, 2017 and I am going to go tomorrow to get it fixed for FREE because this...
