WOULD NOT RECOMMEND you get what you pay for and im not just talking about the rooms. Where do I start?… the rooms were dark and outdated I was told you have one switch at the front door that turns on all the lamps in the room then you have to switch each lamp on there were three lamps in the room one wasn’t working and was missing a bulb. The light in the bathroom was flickering and needed to be changed. The toilet had not been cleaned and there was half a toilet paper roll that was already used there. No towels offered in the room but there was one hand towel wrapped around the shower. The beds were half made when I arrived which was strange because I was told on arrival my room was not ready and I literally saw the cleaner leave the room. What really topped off the worst stay is the service. I had to change plans and asked last night about extending my stay and how much it would cost the lady advised me at least 4 times the room rate charge would be $241 I confirmed and confirmed and asked about the taxes she said she can see here I already paid the $371 for the original booking that no new taxes or charges would be made ontop of this. So I agreed to extend at the $241 she took my ID and card said there was an issue and to just check in tomorrow. I asked if I should leave the bags as I am returning a car tomorrow and will not return till around 2-3pm she said it is okay we will be able to sort everything out when I return. Today while I was out I was charge $345 from the hotel, on return I asked about this charge the man had no idea about the $241 rate advised and asked me to speak to the owners. Waited for the owners who then advised that the employee last night she was new but has worked previously for similar company so she should know and doesn’t understand where she would be getting the $241 from, they also advised me that they had to check me out and create a new reservation for me thats why I received a bill for the original stay and had to get my Key reactivated. So the place charged me without approval without me physically being here to check in even after making a new reservation for me. The best the owner could do was offer to refund me but what good could that do if I couldn’t get the money back till possible 5-10 business days. DO NOT RECOMMEND DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE GUYS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Stay away from this place and escape for your own sake! This place is not suitable for human stays, at least not yet. They suffered damage from the hurricane and there is construction going on. If you want to have a very opportune wake up call from one of the heavy machinery working on site at 6 AM in the morning, this is your place! Careful with nails on the floor, they do have a notice about it at the reception desk. What they don't have is a notice of these constructions works in any of their websites. We tried to have a refund and I could have one, not before they recharged the first night at full price even when I paid a discounted rate. This means they took money out of the remaining nights to cover a "full price" for the first night and refunded me whatever was left after it. Other people in our party tried and when expedia attempted it, they basically lied to expedia saying there was no construction going on. Well, the loud sound of work, the covered pool because of the constructions, and the half way no roof with workers on top woud disagree. Did I mention dirty rooms?, Dirty walls?, Dirty AC Unit?, Or a very stained and scratched front door?. Did I mentioned lying straight face to expedia? Yes, this last I already did!

This was the worst hotel experience at all. Being under construction, they didn't advertise in ANY website or travel app that they WERE under construction and still accepting bookings from customers. After having an extenuating evening with workers yelling, making noises, machinery everywhere, and not an available pool, the next morning I tried to cancel my Thanksgiving break reservation. They refused to do it because I booked it through Expedia. When I called Expedia, they had communication with the manager and she said in front of me, and in front of a sign that said: "careful with the nails when you walk outside your room" because they were under construction, that they were only fixing the hotel roof. Not a construction, right? So, Expedia didn't want to refund my money and I ended up booking a room on a different hotel. The room was dirty, sheets with stains; on the breakfast area, no drinks only burned coffee, and a dirty eating area. If you planned to stay on that area, please, consider stay in any other place except this hotel. The funny thing is that they did cancel the other rooms of the people that were with me, but not mine.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Awful awful experience with the staff and the room. First off why do they take a photocopy of your drivers license when you check in and not give the copy back when you check out? Why do you all keep that information? No other hotels I’ve stayed at do this. Re: the room, bedding was dirty, smelled and so many stains. Bed not comfortable at all. TV sound was awful! Fridge and microwave disgusting 🤢 Walls, door frames, ceiling, were all scratched up, stained with who knows what, just really really dirty. Floors were filthy so even after a shower my feet were black from walking around the room. So I was up all night because the tub faucet kept dripping all night long no matter how much I tried to get it tight to stop and the drain plug wouldn’t stay open, so all night I was getting up to hold the drain plug open to drain the water so the dripping wasn’t so loud and so it didn’t overflow (looking at the floor it seems it had already done this before). Finally around 5am I went to call the front desk, went to the phone on the nightstand, it’s not even hooked up to anything, just for show🙄. I took photos and videos of all of this because I’ve been traveling to different motels/hotels for a couple months now and this was the WORST experience I’ve ever had, with the staff and the room. So I called the front desk from my cellphone, he said I could change rooms. At 5am? With my service dog with me and pack everything up and move everything to another room just to turn around and check out by 11am? How does that even make sense? I told him I want a refund, he said the manager comes it at 10. So I went to the front desk at 10. Zero help there! SHE said you were offered another room right? I said yeah at 5am, that wasn’t the point! She said she would give me a full refund however I always book through Priceline, so nothing she could do. I told her I am traveling from Florida to Ohio and needed some rest before driving again today, she said I could change rooms but have to checkout by 2pm. I said if you were going to refund me for tonight’s stay and can’t, then why not let me stay another night in a clean room for free where the bathtub isn’t dripping all night and clogged so I can get some rest before getting on the road again. Even showed her the videos and photos and she said it does drain there’s just a trick to it. Are you for real? One; that’s not the point! Two; Like your guests are supposed to know this information? Made no sense to me at all. She said she wouldn’t let me stay another night to get some rest, so I packed up and checked out. At a much better hotel tonight that will receive a great review! ☺️ DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AT ALL!! I never...

My family Booked and PAID for a room days in advance. Called at 8pm on day of arrival to let them know we would have late check-in around 3am. Get to hotel, check in at desk. Go to room and it is FILTHY and TRASHED. Cigarette butts on night stand, half-eaten McDonalds in garbage can, dirty sock in corner of room, fresh cigarette smoke, bed messed up. It literally looked like someone brought a prostitute here. I immediately called the girl at the front desk, who was new and had no idea of what to do. The girl at the desk told me they had two rooms that were vacant, but it would be up to manager (MISSY) or the owner, to switch us room assignments. She called the manager and left a message. Then she called to owner of the hotel and left a message. After a while, the manager, MISSY, called back and told me that we could stay in the FILTHY room "as is" or get our money back and find somewhere else to stay. It was the Friday beginning spring break, so no place anywhere had vacancies. At this point it is 345am. I asked the girl at desk to call manager MISSY back and tell me why she can't reassign me to one of the two vacant rooms. She said the empty rooms were paid for, to which my response was "I paid for mine in advance, called to confirm my arrival, and when I get here it is 100% unsanitary and not fit for anyone, especially a family with small kids". The girl at the desk even said rooms were randomly assigned and the other two rooms had not confirmed there arrival. Then as me and my wife are sitting in the lobby trying to figure out what we were going to do, MISSY comes in the door, followed by the cops. My initial thoughts were that they were there to Investigate the room that was broken into and trashed? Nope, the manager MISSY called the cops with some fabricated story and they were there for me! After talking with cops, them running a check on me and my wife, they even said that the manager MISSY was being ridiculous and dramatic and the cops even apologized for MISSY being such a bad example of southern hospitality. MISSY was just upset that she was inconvenienced, the owner was called because MISSY didn't answer her phone, and she didn't want to resolve the situation in most logical manner. If I was the owner (who I haven't contacted yet), I would fire MISSY and find someone else more capable and...
