I think this place would do well as a taco truck. Our server took our order and left....like went home. While waiting for our food, an employee mopped the tiny restaurant with fabuloso. I ate a bit of my food and thought there were chemicals in it until I realized the floors were being mopped. It was VERY pungent. The gentleman that dropped off our food was friendly. However, we were not waited on again until we were finished. I had empty water, no refill. Had to get up and ask for more chips. The quesa birra was ok. My boyfriend got the steak tacos. The steak was rubbery. He ate the taco because no one checked on us, we are traveling and need to get back on the road. I believe management should consider the patrons before having employees mop with strong chemicals while people are eating (there were 5-6 other tables) The whole dining experience was overall bad and weird at best. If you eat here, I'd suggest order to go and avoid the steak tacos. They were $14 for 3 subpar tacos. As we were leaving an employee was walking in. Instead of waiting for us customers to leave, she said excuse me and walked right past us. I had high hopes because the reviews seemed good. Honestly, avoid or order carryout. Service was nonexistent. I noticed a manager there but couldn't find her to address these concerns....hence this less than desired review. For three people it...
Read moreI ordered a taco salad. I'm a very health conscious person. Rarely eat out. But when I do I choose what seems to be the healthiest options on the menu. I told them to HOLD THE SOUR CREAM AND NO SHELL!!! So basically just a bunch of lettuce, some taco meat, a little cheese and extra tomatoes. To my surprise I did not see the meat. They said it's at the bottom. Ok! As I began to dig in, I wAs completely disgusted with my findings. A HUGE PUDDLE OF GREASE UNDER MY SALAD!! Who does that? So I poured it all out...so I thought. I noticed as I ate, hesitantly, the puddle would reappear. Then I'd drain my salad again!! By the time I had drained it the THIRD time it was no longer a salad as my lettuce was all wilted and had cold orange grease all over it. It looked like a bowl of SLOP! It was $6.99 I could've kept. This is a reminder why I eat at home and why eating out had me at over 300 pounds. I lost 100 pounds this year and each bite made me feel like I was gaining 1 back. Horrible, horrible experience. When you can't even get a salad on the go!! What a shame and a...
Read moreWe are not from this area and looking for a good Mexican restaurant to have dinner at. A person suggested Rodeo Mexican restaurant and we did. The parking lot was full and if you’re driving anything bigger than a F150 you need to park in the lot next door in a closed restaurant. We were able to get a table right away. The place was busy, they have margaritas happy hour 4-6 @ 3.99 each. Plus they have a Texas margarita specials on Thursday’s all day long for 4.99. We tried both. They are really good. I got dinner special #6. Two beef tacos that came with beans and rice. Wife got the Taquitos. Both Came out looking hot and amazing The Chicken taquitos came out perfect and there were 4 of them. We probably could have shared them, they were delicious. I got 2 tacos with beans and rice. Super good. Just a great atmosphere very family friendly. Very friendly staff and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. What a great place for dinner. If I lived here I would be a regular...
