Absolutely horrible place to stay. The photos that they use make the rooms look nice but do not paint a true overall picture. I had reserved to adjoining rooms. Upon checking in, I did a walk through of the two rooms. I went back to the office and had the attendant walk through the rooms with me. The "fresh" towels and linen were not that fresh. The bed linen was stained with brown spots at the foot of the bed. The "fresh" towels were so stained that they were dingy. I requested both clean, unstained sheets and towels, which they did provide hours later. The bathroom had tile around the tub that had been painted. The built-in soap dishes were stained with mildew. A thin layer of paint had been applied over the mildew making it to be trapped and unable to be removed. The toilet was not secure to the floor and wobbled when someone sat on it. The A/C in the adjoining room quit working. The office staff was notified concerning the problem. She said that she could not do anything about the situation until she heard back from her boss. I asked for a refund and was told the same thing, she could not give a refund until she heard back from her boss. Meanwhile it became so hot in the adjoining room that my friends told me that they were going to leave and return home. None of us had eaten in hours so we decided to go eat while the office staff waited to hear back from her boss. While we were waiting on our food, I contacted Expedia through which the reservation was made. I explained everything and the representative was very helpful. He contacted them and suddenly we had another room reserved for us in which they moved my friends to. During all of this we had planned to swim but the pool closed and we were still dealing with switching rooms. The next morning we went for the breakfast and was told that there was none due to Covid-19. No mention of this on their website. We then thought that we would take a quick swim before checking out. The sign read pool open from 9am-9pm. We changed our clothes and went to the pool and the gate was locked. Total nightmare situation! To top it...the ice machine worked but who would want any ice from this...
   Read moreHello,
I recently stayed at the quality inn lake park Georgia. This stay was completely awful. We had a group of about 15 rooms for us. I am letting you know how disappointed the quality, service, cleanliness of this hotel. I will complain solely about my experience. Upon check In I was booked into a smoking room but due to the hotel being sold out I sucked it up and said ok. After passing the several Winn Dixie shopping carts strategically scattered around the hotel for what I guess is luggage carts. I get to my room where I immediately checked the cleanliness of the room and found âwhite stainsâ on the bed which was very unsettling. Urine stains on the toilet seats and most of the towels had stains on. After asking the front desk if someone could change my sheets on the bed, I was told no but the front desk lady would be happy to give me new sheets to change myself. By this time my stay was already ruined, only to go back to my room and have my child tell me to be careful on the toilet because itâs not bolted in and rocks when you sit on it, âSo much for using the bathroomâ. Next on this wonderful stay was housekeeping who did a great job cleaning the room only to once again place the nasty stained sheets back on the bed. So wanting to relax after a tough day what better way than a nice hot shower, well of course that doesnât happen due to the water not getting hot in the afternoon. Shower in the morning was fine but not in the afternoon, other from my group experience the same thing. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had with the most horrible service that wasnât even worth complaining to because they probably hear it all the time. My room number was 203. I would love for someone to get back to me. My stay was from...
Read moreWe were attending an event in Lake Park and needed accommodations that allowed us to bring our dog. On arrival, there was a small crowd in the lobby. The computer system was down, and no one was able to check in. The desk attendant seemed perplexed by the entire process, and could not even estimate how long the system would be off-line. We left for a couple of hours, rather than sit and wait. Called several times while we were out to see if the situation was rectified, and the phone went unanswered. When we did finally get our room, we found that the television would not receive any broadcast signals. Both the day and evening desk attendants attempted to fix it, but were unsuccessful. Worst of all, you could not turn it off. It bathed the room in blue light, so we were unable to sleep. It took over 30 minutes, a phone call and two trips to the office for the desk person to come to the room to figure out a way to turn it off, keeping us from going to bed as we had planned. There was no maid service during our stay. The room was OK, but not squeaky clean. It might have been nice if someone even checked to see if we needed fresh towels. Not that you could take a hot shower any way, as there didn't seem to be hot water at any time during our stay. The entire place seems run down, with broken windows on some units. We were promised a credit on our bill for the inconveniences, which never happened. At check out, the day attendant told me that she was new and had no idea how to process a credit. She said she would speak to the manager when he came in at 1 pm, and have him call me. Didn't happen. I called to hotel today and spoke to the same woman, who took a message (?) and told me the manager would call me back. Still waiting...
