Overall we stayed for the location and it being pet friendly in all rooms. It truly can't be beat. The room was also very clean. Very very basic but clean .
Pros: Bay side and the ocean on the other with a beautiful tiki hut and beach. They have all of the essentials needed to cook in room as well as a grill area outside. Simple amenities. Nice to have an immediate text line if needed and seems during the week is a great time to go. They are pet friendly with a fee and also has great beach towels in room for you. Also refreshing to not have a room overdue the beach blue hues but nice sand tones.
Cons: The room we booked was not what was shown and definitely not what they would have advertised to rent on any platform. For $50 a night plus a $100 cleaning fee for having a dog (pet friendly in all rooms) the room integrity and wear and tear was ROUGH. The beach side rooms seem to be what is advertised with simple decor and wall art with the surf board decor. Ours had nothing... no wall art and no decor unless you count all of the wall marks and the hole in the door as well as the toilet paper holder being busted and still connected to the wall. The kitchen stove gave me a good zap with the metal pan as the burner was not connected correctly, the remote didn't work (although there was a sign that said if we scanned channels we would be charged 100 bucks). The bathroom cabinet was disintegrating due to water damage, rust and wall marks, stained curtains from what appeared to be water damage, and a couch (although super comfy) peeled leather as you sat on it. We never saw anyone until checkout as they were closed by 5 or 6 each night. One lady did ask us if we needed anything as we were heading out and with a party of two didn't at the moment. With a small and might room occupancy was definitely disappointed with the room provided. We did book through booking so not sure if we got a less quality room due to that (yes it was nearly a hundred dollars cheaper and as my cruise was canceled was...
Read moreWe booked this location because of its exceptional access to the beach, if you go in with that expectation, that it is a phenomenal location, you're good to go. If staying on the inlet side (as we did - due to last minute trip/booking) the beach oasis is only a few steps out the door. If you're looking for views of the inlet while drinking your morning coffee, room 1 might not be your cup of joe. We were a little upset about the views from the room we received, based off the pictures online, but again, we were there for a quick stay and the beach was our objective. Two negatives, there was clearly a septic tank issue or blockage in the pipes, because randomly the bathroom would be just permeate a disgusting smell. It would pass in about 2 hours or so. We just opened the front and back door and let the ocean breeze fill the room. Second, (first world problem) the shower head is easily at the 5'6" mark (way to short for anyone 5'10" or taller) and it had almost no water pressure. If you're looking for new, modern, and highly luxury comforts...the inlet side (at least room 1) isn't for you. We would stay here again, just on...
Read moreArrived to our first room, which was not an inlet view as promised. There were red and brown stains on the sheets and all over the disgusting mattress. There was also dirt in the sheets. There were water stains down the wall from the ac unit. The tile in the shower was not “marble” as described by owner, but instead, blue hexagon. The railing to the filet station was broken and unsafe. No water at the filet station or at the units to rinse off. Told the owner and sent pictures of the first unit. He offered us a second unit. Again, not inlet view. A side view of the other units. The curtain on the door had a huge stain as soon as you opened the door. The sheets were dirty again. Also- there are signs saying that they do not provide house keeping during covid, but feel free to change your own sheets. We sent a message to the owner with pictures to show him it wasn’t clean and he responded back by saying he could not accommodate us and to please leave. Leaving us stranded. I have posted pictures of the units and the screen shots of our texts on...
