If I could give this place 0/5 stars I would. When we got up with our room instead of having a king and a queen we had a king and two fulls, we were two couples so it wasn’t very ideal to have the wrong room. We also noticed it was very hot, when we finally were able to turn on the thermostat it was 85° in the room, we also realized we couldn’t turn on the fan or the A/C. We called the front desk and the women there told us we could turn the switch on in the wall ac and that should make it work. It did not, it made the room hotter, it was then 87° in the room. This was all while trying to get ready for a wedding. We contacted the front desk and they said they would send up maintenance. We then had to get ready in a family members room because it was too hot to stay in ours. Before we left for the wedding, I reached out to the man at the front desk and asked once again for maintenance to go to our room, they said they would contact me when they did. They never reached out, while at the wedding we had to initiate contact and reach out once again to the front desk to see if there was any updates. They informed us there were no updates and they could not provide us with anymore portable ACs or even fans. We were just suppose to sleep in a room that was 87°. The hallways were colder than all of our rooms. The only thing they could do was offer 15% off a $300 room. Which is ridiculous what half the people are sleeping in late august heat. When we asked if we would move rooms, they told us it wasn’t possible because they were sold out. We asked for a bigger discount and we had to wait until a supervisor was available. The next morning, the supervisor was at check out and had no idea about our issues and informed us she couldn’t do anything and had to go to higher ups if we wanted a bigger discount. Later that day they called to let us know they would give us 50% off the room and that it was dealt with. It’s now been 2 weeks and we were still charged $301. We called and they told us that there was a glitch in the system and that it didn’t go through but now it should. I do not believe there was a glitch but a lack of competence in the whole staff. I’ve never been so disappointed in a hotel stay and I’ve stayed in a hotel that was on fire and everyone had to be evacuated. I would never recommended this hotel to anyone and I will forever tell everyone what a horrible place it was. The rooms are too old and ugly to cost $300 for one night too. This is my first review I’ve ever posted, that’s how upsetting this experience was. ||I was so overwhelmed by all of that I forgot to let them know my sheets had old blood and stains on them as well. We parked in front of the hotel, unloaded our luggage in a cart, then parked in the garage. Check-in went smoothly. Probably because it was not crowded when we got there. Staff inside were wearing masks. ||||Pros;||||1. The mountain is a short walk from the hotel so that is convenient.||||2. Heated outside pool and hot tub. Good for the kids at night or something to do other than ski/snowboard. Sauna by the pool for cold nights. FYI- They don’t have towels by the pool. ||||3. 20 minute drive to Warwick,NY which has plenty of places to eat. “Fetch” was great for the adults and kids.||||4. Waffle hut by the lift and learning hill, had great waffles and hot chocolate. They only accept credit card everywhere. No cash.||||4. Kids camp was great. And if you have a lift ticket you can go into the learning area for tips. I stayed the entire time to watch my daughter in case there was an issue. ||||5. If you are staying at the hotel, you can buy lift tickets at the front desk if they are sold out online. ||||6. I liked that you could ski at night.||||7. There is a game room for the kids.||||Cons;||||1. Hotel was understaffed due to the pandemic. Have patience and be kind to the staff. They are trying.||||2. Check the bedding when you get in. There was hair and stains. Not sure if they wash the bedding before they put it back on the bed. We asked for new sheets and a new comforter.||||3. Food at the on-site restaurants was not great. Check expiration on food. Bring your own food and snacks if you can. Might be due to staffing issues. ||||4. I would bring Lysol and some cleaning products just in case for the room. Due to being understaffed, not sure how thoroughly they clean. Although our room was mostly clean. ||||5. Phone in the room was broken. But we have our cell phones and got the number for the front desk so that was the work around for that. ||||6. Tubing was not open. I was told that they delayed the opening for a bit later in the season. We had bought tickets online and they refunded us once it was canceled. ||||7. Rooms are old, but I was told that they are in the process of renovating the rooms. So eventually they will be updated.||||8. Both of our room keys deactivated twice during our trip. The front desk fixed it but if you are going to the pool and come back to the room and that happens... it is not a pleasant experience!||||9. Main light switch controls the bathroom light. So if you do not want to wake everyone up in the middle of the night, bring a flashlight or...
