Rose Hill Inn — Hotel in Versailles

Whether you live locally or are in Kentucky on a trip, the Rose Hill Inn is a must stay. From the moment we pulled in, we were in awe of the beautiful home that sat before us. It is rich in history and if you have the pleasure of staying here, make sure you ask about it, the owners are more than happy to tell you all of the details. From the stained-glass window to the high ceilings, this home is stunning and well worth the stay.

My husband and I booked out the entire inn for our wedding and we would do it again in a heartbeat. With its close location to downtown Versailles, it was a no-brainer to have all of our wedding party stay together here. The house is split into two wings which makes it perfect for the next before the wedding but still easy enough access to have the party members flow from wing to wing. The night of the wedding we stayed in the cottage that is out back. The cottage is adorable and has everything you could need. While we stayed in the cottage, our family stayed in the main house. The following morning, we were able to have breakfast and sit around in the living room to catch up with one another. Both days it was wonderful to be able to have everyone together and feel like we were in a family members home.

Each room in the home has its own bathroom and lockable door so there is also a lot of privacy if that is what you would like. As for the beds, I could go on for hours about how amazing the beds were. It felt like sleeping on a cloud that I never wanted to get off of. Each room is stunning and beautifully decorated. In the morning, we were served an amazing breakfast with the best pancakes I have ever had.

I’ve never stayed somewhere like this where I felt so much at home. Robin and Rachel are the key to what makes this place amazing! You will feel like family or close friends from the moment you meet them. But their work on this beautiful iconic and historic home shows an attention to detail that was truly satisfying to the eyes. I noticed this detail in the tile work in the shower, the USB and Power plugs everywhere and on each sice of the bed, The glasses, snacks, and wine bottle opener in the room, and much much more that made our stay just perfect.

We stayed in the Library Suite. The bed was so comfortable. It had a memory foam topper that kept my back from hurting, which almost always happens in hotel rooms. The suite had everything we needed and was just beautiful. Even though we were right off the main foyer, we rarely heard anything. It was so quiet.

I was also very impressed with the communication via email and text messages from the time we made the reservation, through the daily texts about choosing your breakfast meal and time. It was just so easy and convenient. Before you arrive expect to get a link to a pdf with everything you need to know from the local area.

Every breakfast was so enchanting and tasty. You have to try the cinnamon rolls!!! What we even enjoyed during breakfast was the helpful suggestions Robin and Rachel gave us each day about choices of restaurants and where to go and what to see in...

My husband and I rented out the entire Rose Hill Inn for our wedding party to stay at during our wedding and it was our little home away from home during our wedding weekend. I truly cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was -- it was one of the highlights of our wedding. We stayed in the Library Suite, which not only is stunning and has a super nice bathroom and one of the biggest, comfiest beds we've ever slept in, but is also perfect for couples getting married because there is a sitting room when you first walk in that is separate from the bedroom, which allowed us to hang out with our friends and family and to have vendors come in and out while still having privacy in the bedroom and bathroom. My bridal party also got ready at the Rose Hill, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. When I say the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, I really mean it. They made an incredible breakfast and snack spread for the women getting ready. We had the most delicious breakfast every single day. They let us takeover the Inn for getting ready and photographs. They were helping our shuttle navigate in and out of the driveway. They were truly incredible, and my husband and I cannot wait to come back and visit...
