☕️ Our first stop during our visit to Versailles had to be the Amsden Coffee Club! Their new spring menu features so many delicious specialty coffees, the Honey Lavender Latte and Cinnamon Honey Shaken Espresso were two of our favorites! We’ll definitely be back soon to try them all! ☕️ After enjoying our coffees we headed next door to Gathered Living Mercantile. From party and home decor to unique and vintage inspired gifts, Gathered Living has that special something for every occasion! ✨ We can’t wait to highlight more shops, bakeries, and restaurants in Versailles this week! 🤍✨ 💗🎀 FEATURED: Stunning pieces from Elizabeth Wilson Designs, The Margot Dress and The Josephine Dress will be available in the Think Pink Collection April 11th at 8 PM EST 🎀💗 #fyp

This is such a gorgeous spot in downtown Versailles with consistently good (though not bold) coffee and tea concoctions at a fair price. Today I stopped in and got a seasonal drink, the honey lavender, and it did not disappoint! They seem to use quality ingredients for their drinks. I have always enjoyed perusing the merchandise, which there is less of now. It might sound odd to say, but it's one of my favorite floors, certainly my favorite in town, I just love the tiles. Parking and time of day can impact your visit if you are in a time crunch. The baristas are often so kind! The bakery items are OK, I usually pass for the price but to each their own. I miss the shop here, it's turned into more of a childcare spot. It used to be a place I would intentionally try and support a few evenings a month with coffee and shop, but it doesn't feel geared to me now.

While the ladies working there are nice, and the atmosphere is decent, the latte I had was just terrible! I ordered an iced latte with oat milk, and there was a dollar up-charge for the oat milk, and the ice was another up-charge. I think this is pretty outrageous considering the fact that the ice takes up space in the cup and reduces the amount of liquid you get. The flavor was awfully burnt and tasted like cigarettes. I would call the coffee low-quality and cheap-tasting. This was very disappointing for a local business. I think you’d be better off going to Starbucks if you’re interested in coffee that actually tastes drinkable. I couldn’t even finish it, so it ended up being a total waste of $6 for a small latte.

Today, for small business Saturday, my mother and I decided to drive from Cincinnati to visit the Amsden in Versailles. We arrive around 4 and began shopping. We found some cute pieces but were puzzled when two young workers turned off all the lights (without saying a word) as we were shopping. I asked one if they were closing because we had looked up the business hours before coming. The website says that it closes at 7pm. The girl said yes and quickly walked away. I pulled up the website to double check myself. The other girl came into the shopping area and I asked again if they were closing because the website hours said 7. She said “yeah my manager texted me and said to close since we have been open a long time today” and walked away. I was shocked. I asked my mother if she still wanted her items and she decided to put them all back considering the way we were treated. Little did we know, it would get worse. As we began walking out, the two girls were in the coffee area giggling and we heard them talking about us. We were both very upset, we told them to have a nice day and left. We were absolutely stunned. I have never been treated this way in any business, especially not a small business and ESPECIALLY not on Small Business Saturday. Very disappointed in the Amsden and it’s employees. We will not...
