Dear Manager of this Motel! D O B E T T E R!!!!! This is absolutely disgusting! For $150.00/night this is what your customers get to look forward to? No discount, just “we will change the sheets?” Who the hell would want to sleep on those mattresses after you change the sheets! Whoever cleaned those rooms and made those beds last should be F I R E D! This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! But let me guess, since they traveled 5 1/2 hours for a hockey tournament, you feel you don’t have to work with them because there aren’t other options available! Make this situation right!!!!

First time staying at the patch motel. Very nice place clean staff was very friendly. The only complaint was it’s very dated needs to be updated. Would highly recommend

The prior reviews say it all. Musty carpet, weed smelling halls, noisy neighbors. It's cheap and a place to sleep. It would have been nice to have heat.

I have stayed here before and didn't hesitate to book 5 nights recently. We are not they type to need our room cleaned or new towels daily so we put the "do not disturb" sign out for the first 2 days. The 3rd day I put the "please clean room" sign out and nothing happened in our room. Our towels probably would have been ok, but local temps had been in the 90's for a couple of days and our AC wasn't dealing well with the humidity-everything felt wet. I spoke to the front desk staff regarding the AC (was told "well, the humidity is really high" as she ran a finger across her upper lip area and told me of the people who's unit failed "it was like a sauna in there") and asked for clean towels. No housekeeping again on Day 4. That night I went to the desk and said politely "I don't mean to be rude, but is there not housekeeping service here?" I was told there was, and that "they were so busy today". I explained that here we were going on our 5th night in the hotel and had not had any housekeeping service in our room at all. I also explained my previous concern about the AC unit (she added it to maintenance work list). Also got more dry towels. We were out of the hotel early each morning and returned late evening because we were visiting family that lived local and...

We paid a lot of money to stay here in their new two bedroom apartment suite. The entire !! time we were there it smelled so strongly of pot that we complained every day! We were told that it was temporary employees from the Marvin company across the highway and that they rented way too many rooms from them on a daily basis to cause too much trouble. They have finded them, they have reported them to the police they have done everything they can think I’m sort of kicking them out to rectify the issue but obviously money speaks louder than people who are willing to pay over $650 for three night stay!! Not only that while we were there a young African-American man exposed himself and urinated all over in the parking lot in front of my 13-year-old grandson! That really makes it not OK because that’s an illegal act when you expose yourself to a minor. The police were called but I have heard nothing back . I would recommend that you stay at either the newly built Hampton hotel which is beautiful and the food is awesome or at the seven clans casino hotel. It will be a long time before I stay at the patch again! Don’t get me wrong I love the Marvin family and everything they’ve done for the Warroad area however something needs to change...

My husband just got back from the Izzy's/Patch Motel with our six year old son and his father, brother and a bunch of friends. They have never before recieved such poor service. The staff was very unfriendly, The owner was using profanity, mulitiple times, in front of our six year old. They drop you off for fishing, after the morning bite, and pick you up before the evening bite starts. They say its not their problem if you don't catch fish. We paid the guide service to go out fishing, and were told if the fish were not biting, they would move them. When they asked to be moved, they had every excuse to not move them to a different area and was told it was not their f#$%ing problem. My husband spent over $3000 for this trip and the owner told him money doesn't matter. The Izzy's Guide Service brochure in the room and on the web site says that fish cleaning is included in your package. When they asked the owner about it, she said it's not part of the package, she designed that website and it is not f$%^ing on there. If you are planning a Lake of the Woods trip, please stay elsewhere so you can enjoy...
