I wished I could give them a 0 start for Discrimination!
My husband and I brought my father in law and nephew for a visit as we just purchased some land. We decided to stay here from Saturday, 1/16 and leaving on Monday, 1/18. Due to how I were racially discriminated against will have to say we will never come here again.
On Monday morning we had to check out by 11, since I had 2 $50 food credit, we decided to order some breakfast now and lunch before leaving. At approximately 9:20am my nephew and I came down to place the order. We figured the food would be done quickly and we would be back to our room in time to gather our belongings and check out. After placing our order for breakfast the cashier advised us it would be 15 minutes. We advised her that we would be right back since we were going to Sweet Treats to get drinks. We ended up outside and back in after our order. We came back and waited for another 25 mins. Went and got our drinks and came back and at this point we have been waiting over an hour and itās now 10:23 am. We seen a lady who came after us get her food so I asked my nephew to go and ask the lady what was going on. She told my nephew that the order was never placed. At this point Iām upset because time is against us. Iāve watched this employee from the seats right next to the restaurant hugged up against another employee and paid no mind to us. She finally went back to check on the order after the other employee left and sent her manager over who stated that the order was given to the wrong person. So which is it, was the order given away or was it never placed? The manager said it would be a good idea to go ahead and placed my lunch order now also.
At this point, Iām livid as I specifically told her that we had to check out and I needed our food. I stood there as the employee ignored me helping people place orders and another waiting to pay. The couple who were waiting to pay noticed I had been standing there and said something to the employee. She had ignored me the whole time trying to avoid what had happened. She proceeded to tell the lady who was waiting to pay that I was waiting my food, that was an assumption. I advised the employee I needed to place my other order since she had given our food to the wrong person. She said to me that I ālookedā like the other person so she got confused and thatās why they had to place my order again. I was highly upset at this point and told her I just need to place my lunch order since she gave our food away. I asked her if she felt we looked alike because we were both Asians with slanted eyes, she chuckled, rolled her eyes annoyed at me and walked away before I could say anything else.
Iām thinking to myself, Iām a short Asian woman with almost 6ft tall African American young man, how is this even possible. Mind you the person she was mixing me up with or was supposedly confused about was an older lady who had a beanie and a coat on. Not black curly hair. This is a clear violation of discrimination against your customers because we were both Asians and placed our orders at least 10-15 mins apart. The older Asian lady was at the Sweet Treats when my nephew and I placed an order at the restaurant and she came to the restaurant after us. We sat right in front of her while she and another employee had his arm wrapped around her, very unprofessional. How would you not notice us?
There are plenty of cameras and as it will show you our time lone of ā15 minutesā and clearly show you that who she gave our food looked nothing like me, the only common thing we had was our eyes distinguishing that we are Asian.
Needless to say, our order was not correct, but by this time we were checked out the hotel and on our...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreDear cycle riders, men and women on two wheels, veterans (I hate to even mention), and all walks of life,
Iāve been home from Iraq 7 weeks. Flight medic (68WF2, proudly carried and rarely spoken, I never explain who I am and show clean-reserved respect) for 9 years. Iāll never complain. Took the bike for a spin and decided to roll a little money. I have zero financial issues nor was drinking. Please, know this.
After walking in and purchasing chips at roulette I was met by 3 security guards (a fourth was called). I was told backpacks arenāt allowed (I promise it was minimal). I respectfully asked for the floor manager and went to re cash my chips within minutes. After briefly explaining my tiny bag held my wallet keys, phone etc that ābackpacks arenāt allowed.ā Mind you this is the size of a purse. I explained they were welcome to search it or look also, I just came because of prior experience. Being surrounded by people is not my forte and I was insanely respectful. There were 4 men surrounding me in a crowd of drunks and commonplace. I told them Iād leave because it was an absolute trigger. I went to cash my chips. I still asked for a floor manager prior to leaving. I promise, this is their only qualmā¦no backpacks. I suggested it was the size of a purse. I wonāt name people or get into anything extensive beyond this. I was told that there is no specific policy nor is there a definition of a ācarried bag.ā They said if I wanted a fanny pack, I was interrupted and told policy by security (not the floor managers). The floor manager opted that there are no specifics, that Iām welcome to carry a fanny pack or purse if I want.
I genuinely apologize for the state of the world and the way things are here at home. But, Iāll never be surrounded by people that wonāt show decent reservation for people they know nothing about. They literally have homeless folks and addicts walk through their doors.
Just my TRUE observation. Iām 6ā5ā, clean cut, and nice as can be. I promise, I will never step foot in a place where Iām unwelcome or if itās not posted.
Please, dearest casino, I want zero response because the time to talk was present and nobody spoke up. The people at the table all saw, the cameras, YOU, and your staff. Never again and Iāll never consider it.
I believe a genuine apology from a REAL person is in order but it wonāt happen , the fact isā¦.not all, but some are welcome. Iām a good people and regret any time wasted. I did that today. Iāve only been to a casino 4 times and just wanted to go for a ride, you and your staff ruined it. Carry on - god bless the stars, stripes, and those that sacrifice their all for...
