We were in room 209, right on the corner. Room was clean and adequately appointed. Fridge, micro, 40odd inch TV. Water pressure in shower was fantastic. Beds were firm and comfortable. The air conditioner was efficient. It cooled the room quite well. It also was about as strong and loud as a turboprop airplane engine. My bed was about 15 feet from the vent on the opposite side of the room and I felt a very substantial air flow across my head. It was also so loud that it drowned out all other noise, including outside noise, snoring, the shower, and even the TV. I have a sound meter on my phone. It registered a constant 60-65db. That's around the sound of an office environment. In my room. At night. Believe me when I say that it's way louder when you're trying to sleep. The shampoo/conditioner pumps in the shower were a great idea that was poorly executed. The nipple of the shampoo dispenser was both clogged and shoved to the side, so I had to disassemble the unit to fix it. Even then it squirted out just a tiny bit at a time. The conditioner didn't work at all, because the plug at the top was missing. So you had to milk the nipple to get anything. My wife has pretty long hair. She wasn't going to do that. So all told, the room was good enough to sleep in, once you got used to the indoor airstrip, and if you bring your own toiletries.

This is not a place I would stay at for a travel destination but certainly perfect for a night while traveling. There is no veiw but very close to the interstate. The rooms are clean and they do have a light breakfast in the morning at the lobby. I see a sign for a pool but haven't gone myself. I can't walk the stairs to get to it and it is outside so much to cool yet (might not even be opened yet since it is so early in the year). The staff are friendly and helpful. There are a variety of stores and places to eat nearby (within a couple of miles). While the bathroom is small, the room is a nice size. There are soda machines and ice machines in a breezeway, avalable 24/7. The grounds are clean and well kept. If I ever came this way, I would stay the night here again.

I can't say enough GOOD things about this hotel and staff. 3 of us, all professional motorcoach drivers checked in EARLY as to get a nap before a switch. Ruthie couldn't have been more amazing! Actually bringing the breakfast cart back out so we could eat. I have never seen so many condiment and spice options on a breakfast bar. Double Room was a bit small but VERY CLEAN! Bathroom with tub, spotless. large pool was clean and well maintained. Did I mention how AWESOME breakfast was? I highly recommend this hotel! 4🌟. sidenote: although I said we drive Motorcoach, we were in a company car, no truck or bus parking available.

OUTSTANDING HOTEL!!!! As a traveling healthcare worker (whose parents live in Winchester, KY) I have stayed at this hotel many, many times. They have never, ever disappointed me and the location has only gotten better with each stay.

It is centrally located right off the interstate and bypass in Winchester, KY where almost anything you might need from a hospital, auto repair, veterinarian services, fine dining, or shopping of any type is just a mile away.

This unassuming Best Western is very, very clean, extremely well lit, is patrolled by local law enforcement, is safe for families and single travelers. The friendly staff goes way above and beyond to make every aspect of the stay wonderful and tailored to your needs.

They are VERY PET FRIENDLY and don’t charge a ridiculous fee to allow your pet to stay there. The parking lot is very large with plenty of room for trailers and bigger vehicles (like work trucks). This is a two story hotel so if you need a ground room or need to park outside of your room....this is the place for you!!!

Above all, the breakfast bar is out of this world!!! FRESHLY cut fruit, a huge coffee/tea bar, many types of cereals, pastries, FRESHLY cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, etc.

It should be noted that they FRESH GRIND the Starbucks whole bean coffee, use only FRESH eggs kept in their refrigerator (never fake egg substitutes) and personally slice the FRESH fruit. They even have an entire area of GLUTEN FREE FOODS!!!!

There was soooo much good food and drinks to choose from and every single thing is excellent name brands, and served at NO CHARGE.

Seriously, on my last visit in November 2019 (a three week stay) I had a friend visit who wanted fresh made waffles but was on a very strict gluten free diet. The owner, who is such a nice lady, overheard us talking and surprised us by personally making gluten free waffle batter for her AND then taking the time to cook them for her so we could sit and enjoy visiting with each other!!!

I mean, where else but in a FIVE STAR restaurant would you get service like that? And....take as much as you want to eat (great for road warriors and maybe construction crew guys). You can eat your breakfast in the very nice dining area while watching the morning news on the huge flat screen TV or sit at the huge computer desk, snack on breakfast, check your emails or surf the Internet on their high speed a WiFi. Or, take as much as you want back to your room so you can get ready for your day.

Just so you know....every room is large, is carpeted with clean and nice smelling floor covering, plenty of drawers/storage for clothing, has a new microwave, very nice refrigerator, steam iron, ironing board, coffeemaker, blow dryer, digital alarm clock, lots of USB charger ports, HBO, a selection of coffees and teas, and very nice toiletries. And, if you happen to run out...just call the front desk. They will get you more ASAP!!!!

Their rates are extremely reasonable and they honor the Best Western Rewards program. Also, and this is important....if your stay is going to be extended, go ahead and ask the owner if she has a price break that is available. When you are there, check out all of the Best Western and local community awards they have hanging on their wall. They are very impressive to say the least!

If you are having a family reunion, are in need of a place to stay during home remodeling, have a conference with visiting business associates, have a high school or college team that needs overnight accommodations, or run a big construction crew that is working a local project......or you just need to get away for a night or two for a “vacation”.....this is the place for you or your business!!!! You absolutely cannot...

The "hotel" is a motel. There are signs everywhere that indicate that the motel is in a bad part of town. Signs talking about how if you steal their towels, sheets, etc., that you'll be charged for it. Signs about how if you're caught with a pet you'll be charged for it. Signs about how if you smoke on the premises you'll be charged for it.

On the "do not disturb" sign itself, it says they reserve the right to come in your room daily anyway, which basically defeats the purpose.

The bathroom was tiny; there were controls for a nonexistent jaccuzi tub that used to be there. The conditioner dispenser in the tub was empty and the bodywash was almost empty. The chair in the room had some sort of dried red sauce on it; not stained fabric, the plastic part had red stuff crusted on it. The bed was fairly comfortable. The drains were all clogged; sink, tub, and toilet all took forever to drain.

No individual A/C units, central ac only. The weather was mild so it was enough, but probably wouldn't have been in summer or winter.

They DID have breakfast in the front desk area, but it wasn't as good of a spread as what I'm used to at best western. It was still better than most of their competitors breakfasts. But more signs about not taking food with you. Signs everywhere, which doesn't bode well for the locale.

I arrived late, meeting my wife, and brought our cat because I checked ahead of time and saw the location was pet friendly. We napped after I arrived because of the ~15 hour drive, and wells woken twice by calls from the front desk about how we didn't pay to have a cat in our room and that we had to come down (read: outside, because it's not a hotel) and immediately pay them for having a cat, despite having told them on the first call that we're trying to sleep and that we were going to be there for 3 days, that we weren't going anywhere. Didn't matter, they called again anyway and woke us up again.

To be clear, it was the micromanaging owner of the establishment, not the front desk worker, that was responsible for waking us repeatedly.

Do not recommend and will not be returning to this MOTEL (not hotel as described) when we return...

Let me say the least my stay was horrible I was here on contract working to help fight covid as a first responder and staying at the best western hotel I will not recommend the hotel is nasty full of bugs and flies I originally asked for a room with a kitchen since my stay was for a month and when I arrived they could not accommodate my request the second night I moved into a new room after speaking with someone that I do not believe to be a manager I lost all my groceries due to my refrigerator going out and I was not refunded a new refrigerator was brought upstairs but the old one remained in my room collecting gnats and full of spoil food I had to clean my own room the sheets and pads on the bed had yellow urine stains it smells bad anyone with sinus and allergies I would not recommend I also have a pet on the website it says additional $20 but I was charged 20/day for my pet and most importantly the hotel staff will steal your money so watch your account closely I was charged multiple times for the previous week I am in a ongoing battle to get my money back now my card was authorized by front desk staff without my consent the manager number does not exist the front desk staff can not provide a number or accurate time of her being on the property during business hours I have never seen her and she has yet to returned my call to discuss my concerns I would never stay here again this is my first time at a best western and my last what ever you do don’t stay here !!! The stars they have must have been paid for because it’s definitely not worth 99-130 a day and my rate constantly change everyday please be careful as this place is advertised for 75/day and I was charged more another case of greedy people getting over on a...
