A very pleasant stay at a 2 star hotel that could eek its way to 3. It’s an older structure but the remodels have done it proud. I can’t say I’ve every stayed in a nicer Quality Inn. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The grounds are meticulously kept. Nice grass and pool area. The room as you can see by the pictures is large, well appointed and very clean. The bed was excellent even though I’m not a fan of memory foam for my personal reasons 😈 Breakfast is a step up from most. Plenty of choices of hot or cold items. I don’t expect much at this price point but I was very pleased. The bathroom had plenty of room, towels nice, good water pressure and spray. Check check check…. With the exception of Denny’s next door. 🤮 There’s a reason I haven’t been in a decade or more and last night was the final mail. Regardless, this is a very reasonable, safe, nice place to stay. If I ever need another room in this area I’ll absolutely stay here!!

Stopped in for one night to breakup a road trip. All I have to say is, I’m impressed. As soon as you enter the lobby, very clean and friendly staff. We unexpectedly travelled with one of our dogs and they were accommodating (and $15 for a pet fee is so cheap!!!) The room was updated and very clean. I love when hotels have hard floors in the rooms. The breakfast room was the perfect touch before getting back on the road. So many options before hitting the road, and again, very very clean. We don’t have plans of heading this way again anytime soon, but I would make it a point to stop here if we needed somewhere to stay!

I am a travel nurse and am on assignment here for 13 weeks. I have stayed at multiple hotels in the area and this one is the BEST hands down. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and cozy, the breakfast is delicious and you can’t beat the price. I work night so I was nervous that during the day while I was sleeping it would be noise with the road right there but It wasn’t. I feel safe being here. This is my new go to.

I was fortunate to have chosen to stay at this lovely hotel on June 23rd and 24th, 2025, and am so pleased with my experience. These were two of the warmest days of the year so far, and I was looking for a pool to relax in on my days off. What a great choice this turned out to be. ||The hotel is easily accessible, located right off I-81 and just off a major highway. I found everything about the property pleasant and appealing. This hotel had been renovated relatively recently, and I loved the vinyl tile flooring in my room. The rest of the property, including the lobby, breakfast area, and hallways, was clean and attractive. ||The pool at this property was perfect, and I have enjoyed pools at many other properties in this area for years. On two of the hottest days of the year, I enjoyed a crystal-clear pool with very warm water, and it was obvious that a lot of care had gone into its upkeep. There were plenty of deck chairs available, as well as two umbrella tables. There were many others there enjoying the pool, and I have a feeling it’s a favorite among guests.||This hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants (including full-service options), a 7-Eleven, and a gas station. The Denny’s on-site is conveniently accessible through a single door in the hotel lobby, making it an excellent arrangement for guests like me who love a 24-hour diner. There is no other chain restaurant-hotel partnership like this in the area. Of course, the hotel offers a great complimentary breakfast, which includes biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal, and waffles. I am always impressed with the complimentary breakfast served at Choice Hotels and have never been disappointed. This is truly a great bargain, especially for families. Lemon-infused ice water and coffee were available in the lobby area, which I loved.||My room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. I had a great night’s rest both nights I stayed, and could hear nothing from neighboring rooms. I always enjoy the number of pillows provided on the beds at these hotels, and the mattress and bedding were fantastic here. There were plenty of electrical outlets for my electronics, and I made the most of those. The housekeeping staff does an outstanding job at this property, and it is clear how much they care about the quality of their work. That goes a long way for those guests who are considering a return.||Overall, my experience here was truly amazing. Thank you to Nicole, the front desk staff, and all of the housekeeping staff for doing what you do. Many things about this property make it outstanding, but your evident commitment to excellent customer service is what I love the most. I appreciate how kind and approachable all of you were during my stay, and I look forward to returning many times...

Absolutely the best value hotel in Winchester. I've stayed in many hotels in Winchester and in the surrounding 50 miles or so for work and this place is not just very nice, but it's also a fantastic value. The lobby feels comfortable and well maintained. The parking lot feels safe and the receptionists take security very seriously on top of being incredibly pleasant. Breakfast is perfectly fine with good selection and nice seating area and there's free coffee available at most hours. But the rooms are where this place absolutely shines. I've only stayed in king rooms so I can't speak to the double rooms which from quick peeks do look slightly different but every bit as nice.

The first time I was here I ended up with a room on the 2nd floor. As soon as I opened the door I was blown away. The room was very nicely decorated with slightly worn but very nice wooden furniture. The bed had very nice sheets and comforter. The bathroom was spotless and well maintained. And the ceiling of the room was vaulted, with rustic and cozy wooden panelling tying everything together for a very comfortable and relaxing experience from the moment you walk in. It's a room that I would be very happy spending 2 or 3 times the price if it was located in a rustic, vacation focused location. The 1st floor room is identical to the 2nd floor rooms aside from the non-vaulted, non-paneled ceiling. It's still very comfortable, but it is missing some of the charm.

There's only 3 slight nitpicks I have. The first is that I don't find the beds to be as comfortable as some other places. They're a little too firm and the bed frame feels slightly unsteady. The second is that due to the vaulted ceilings on the 2nd floor, there is not much space or insulation between it and the roof which means it does get pretty loud when it's raining hard. And the 3rd is that the fridges do not have a freezer section so it's hard to store microwave meals and such. You can turn the fridge up which will drop it below freezing, but then you don't have a refrigerated section.

For the price this place can't be beat. In my experience it costs about $12 a day more than the Red Roof which is not particularly nice or pleasant. About $7 more than the Motel 6 which is sketchy, not particularly clean or maintained, and located terribly. About $10 more than Travelodge which has clean and comfortable rooms but is slightly run down and slightly sketchy due to all rooms differing from each other due to piecemeal repairs and renovations. It's about $25 cheaper than Microtel, which is nicer, newer, and slightly more comfortable but not game-changingly so. And it's about $30-50 less than all the standard Holiday Inns and such. If you're comfortable with ~$80 a night, stop looking at alternatives and...

Seldom do I give a 5-star review. Does doing so mean this place was "Wow!"? No, but it DOES mean it exceeded expectations by a wide margin! |This is the way Quality Inns USED to be...almost always. In recent years, however, they have fallen into the "Um, I'd probably do better somewhere else" zone. I needed an affordable option, so I "spun the wheel and took my chances". Wow, I'm glad I did!|From the moment I walked in I could feel a difference. The front desk evening clerk was a super guy, very welcoming, genuinely pleasant and eagerly helpful. The place looked great, smelled nice, felt safe, and seemed quite clean. There is endless coffee in the lobby, and a door that leads straight in to a Denny's (see my review).|The next day I found every other front desk person to be just as pleasant and helpful. [On the other hand, service staff don't all speak English well, if at all, but they do understand "no". Best to contact the front desk for any needs.] The dining staff lady was quite pleasant, and very helpful, keeping the dining area well-stocked and very tidy.|The room was clean, fresh, comfortable. Everything worked well. I slept comfortably. There was a minimum amount of noise in the building, and almost none outside.|The one quirky thing about this property is that almost all of the room number signs are attached in a crooked way. Is that intentional? Well, quirky, but it certainly doesn't detract from the overall rating.|I would DEFINITELY...
