We had a wonderful one night stay at Earl's Rt. 66 Motor Court Motel, last night! After an 11 hour drive from California, we were so pleased to arrive and be greeted by adorable pup Buffalo, and wonderful Blas!! We were showed our room, we had called a few hours before arriving and spoke with Angela, she'd graciously held a spot for us. It was just what we'd needed after the long drive, so clean, cozy, the most beautiful quilt on the comfy bed, fluffy towels, & great shower sitz bath combo with plenty of hot water! We had a dinner at the Turquoise Room, at La Posada and enjoyed the delicious food, exploring the historical grounds, such amazing architecture, and local art. After returning Blas came by to chat on the porch with Buffalo, and he told us neat stories about his memories of going to the La Posada as a kid, and talked about local art, artists, and life. We loved his good energy and easygoing vibe! The Neon was a highlight after sunset, the book in the room with letters from previous guests was awesome; read the whole thing but didn't see a pen to add our own note. The king bed was so super comfortable we slept so well, and were able to sign into our Netflix to watch shows before bedtime! The grounds were well maintained, safe and secure, we were so glad to be able to park right in front of our room, as we were traveling with alot of luggage in our rental car. The only thing that could have made it better would have been getting to meet Angela too! But we had to leave early, on our way now to New Mexico. Thank You both, for the very Lovely Relaxing Stay!!...

Thank you, Angela and Blas !!!
During our last road trip, we wanted to stay at a particular and we'll known motel in Winslow, Arizona. This would be Earl's Rt 66 Motor Court. We have promoted this motel to three of our groups. When we arrived, we were greeted by Angela Archibeque Sanchez , Blas, and other family members. They were all so friendly and kind, and Angela let us pick our room. Of course, we are not too picky. The room was great and very clean. It's great to have regular size pillows compared to the half pillows that you get now at some motel and hotel chains. The room was a decent size, but the bed was comfortable. The floors were very clean. My socks never turned black during our two stays there. The room does come with a mini fridge and a folder with different restaurant menus. The bathroom towels were great and were not the typical hotel towels you usually will see. The motel is close to the downtown Winslow. In fact, only a few blocks off. We spent the evening and mornings sitting outside of our room. There were a few other people who did the same.
I want to thank Angela, Blas, and her family for two wonderful stays during this road trip. She made us feel like we were family, and she made sure that we were...
Read moreAs you can tell from the # of reviews I've made previously, I don't do this often, but our experience was so excellent at Earl's that it demanded we share :) We had a few days we could spare so my sister and I headed out to Winslow & surrounding areas to see what there was to see! The room was very clean, spacious, and inviting--there were two vases of fresh local flowers and they smelled wonderfully. The room was quiet and featured two beautiful handmade quilts. The bathroom was really clean, the water was really hot, the linen and towels were clean and crisp, and they had nice amenities like soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Earl's was super comfortable and we felt welcomed there. Buffalo (their dog) was very friendly and great company. We ate almost all our meals outside on their patio furniture watching the cars head toward Route 66 and enjoying our surroundings. And the owners were so welcoming and friendly! We had picked up a few cactuses at the local store to bring back with us and they even offered for us to take a few cuttings of their own gorgeous cactus to take home and remind us of our stay! It doesn't get any kinder than that! What a treasure this place is--it was an iconic Rt. 66 stay!! We'd be lucky to stay there again and you should definitely...
