I had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. The property is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that provide all the basic amenities you’d expect. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. Each room includes a basic coffee maker, which was convenient for a quick cup in the morning. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short distance from Wake Forest University—and there are a few dining options nearby for casual meals. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone visiting the area who appreciates comfort, cleanliness, and convenience.

The rooms were very clean and nice. I stayed in a king room. Location is right by Wake Forest University and within a 10 minute drive from pretty much every thing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. House keeping helped out great and does an excellent job in keeping everything clean. The TV even had my name on it and welcomed me 😂 I will stay here every time I go to Winston Salem.

It’s very close to Wake Forest, but not much else. Not walkable. Rooms are fine, but starting to need some attention. A weird thing - the room I was in had a shower stall that was MAYBE 2 feet wide. I’m only 5’3” and even I was hitting my elbows on the shower shelves inside the stall. And the bathroom had plenty of room for a bigger stall (as seen in the pic).

upon checking in, your evening staff was not friendly at all!! when we got to our room, the heater would not come on and so I called the front desk and I was explaining to her that it wasn't coming on at all. I explained to her that nothing was lighting up. she came down, did not even apologize for the inconvenience or simply nothing. she said she was going to send someone to look at it because she couldn't get it to come on either. we waited for another 25 min for someone to help us or let us know at least what was going on with it. They flipped the breaker and still did not check on us to see if it was on. we tired to get it to come on ourselves and it did. My point is, why would your staff not check with us and make sure the heat was working? That is uncalled for. We left the room to go eat at your restaurant and had to wait for our food for 45 min. when the food came out, I was served first and then 5 min later, my guest food came out. Trying to have small talk with your staff was like they were mute. While waiting for our food, still no one told us that the heater was going to be fixed or what have you. when we returned back from the play, I made a comment to your staff that , " it was a good thing we are not freezing". She said she was going to offer us a floor heater...Ok lady, like when were you going to tell us this.. I replied back with, its ok, we got it on but thank you ever so kindly for checking in on us. She made no reply back . your evening shift did not care if your guest was cold or not. Did not care if your guest got feed in a timely manor as well. Your morning shift staff, was very friendly, smiled and greeted us and the restaurant staff did as well. I told them, they were great but their night shift needed much help. Thank you for allowing me to express my concerns, even though, nothing will be done about this. Thank you. Let me say, that we were very pleased with how clean...

The accomodations weren't bad. Nickel-and-dimed for EVERYTHING though. After driving 400 miles from Western PA separate from other members of my family and knowing that their kitchen closed at 10 pm, we decided to get fast food for us and our hungry children around quarter til 10. The hotel's "restaurant" has a "dining room", not seperated from the other seating in the hotel's entrance. Us parents and the nieces and nephews sat at the only table that accommodated our group size to eat quickly. The hotel's "chef" promptly came out, gave us a TERRIBLE attitude about taking away from his potential business by sitting in "his restaurant". He was arrogant, boisterous, and raised his voice before we even had an opportunity to respond to him, demanding that we go sit at small tables not even 15 feet away, that like stated before, had no clear or visible indicators that there was a dining area that was separate from any other seating in the hotel's lobby entrance. There was not one single person in the entire lobby other than us. I've never seen a glorified cafeteria worker get so upset over nothing. To top it off, we were paying customers, as my brother and I both ordered a beer and a cocktail at their highway robbery prices while we were sitting there. I recommend the hotel itself, and I urge anyone who ever stays here to eat as much fast food as they'd like in his precious "restaurant" just to stomp all over his precious, fragile ego. God forbid you get in the way of someone paying $2 for an artisinally crafted $2 single serving of Cheerios 15 minutes before Lunch Lady Land closes. I hope the hotel provides good enough insurance to cover therapy for this man's broken ego that comes clas in a...

The place has bugs!!!!! On 12/24/2020 my wife and I checked in on our way from pa to our honeymoon in florida. The day before we found out her father had passed away in georgia. At 230 in the morning my wife awoke to several bug bites and was having an allergic reaction. The night manager moved us to another room. We never really rested and on christmas morning g I went to thank the manager for moving us to another room and discuss the situation and I also bought coffee at their lobby starbucks. The manager on duty was pleasant at first and suggested that if we were staying another night she would work something out. I returned to my wife and told her of the managers offer and after talking it over we decided to take her up on it. When I returned to the lobby it was if a different person had stepped behind the counter. She informed me since we booked thru hotels.com that there was nothing that she could do. I loudly said excuse me my wife is swollen and still in pain we hadn't slept and that we would just dispute the charges for the bed ridden room and would just continue with our plan of staying with friends till the funeral on sunday. It was at this point she called me a thief and a liar while dialing the police. I am a 50 year old professional my wife has a degree in law but 5 min later with no sleep no shower were being escorted from the property. We still have not disputed the charges but have contacted the health department and two different doctors confirmed that they are bed bug bites. Yesterday corporate marriott contacted us in a nice manner but the manager called me and called us liars yet again after talking with their corporate team. DO...
