Level Hotel — Hotel in Tashkent

Positive: Clean room, good breakfast, quiet neighbourhood

Negative: No payment with credit card possible: In a hotel this category, credit card payment ususally is standard. Noisy ventilation system: The ventilation / AC system is mounted on the hotel's roof. If you have a room in the upper floors, you will hear it extremely loud when you keep the window open. Faulty tourist registration: I had asked for a tourist registration for the three nights we stayed here (which is mandatory), but they registered only just one night. This made me nervous as it was not correct and furthermore raises the question why they did it like this. Very suspicious... Service quality: I had asked the service desk to organize a driver for a day and got the confirmation that this would be organzied. When waiting for the driver, it turned out that they had forgotten to order the driver. My day trip nearly was ruined, but another reception employee managed to organize one witin one hour. At least this was positive. Service quality: Already on the first day, I realized that the sink was blocked and I asked to have this fixed. Nothing was done - even not after two reminders....

I recently stayed at this hotel and, despite its 4-star rating, I would give it more of a 2/5.

The rooms are spacious, but cleanliness was an issue. There were beard hairs on the bathroom floor, the bathtub was falling apart (literally) and was full of dust and other unpleasant things. The bed was hard, with only one pillow provided. The bed coverlet and decorative pillows had visible stains and dark dirt, which was gross.

Service was lacking. The receptionists themselves didn’t know if they had room service (they don’t). The service was slow, with hotel workers often seen outside smoking, chatting or just standing around. There was little professionalism, and not much English spoken. It felt like there was no proper hospitality training. Generally nice people with good intentions, but not trained in hospitality.

On the plus side, the location is great. It’s within walking distance of the metro, and a short cab ride to the city centre. Being next to a supermarket was also convenient.

In summary, the location was a highlight, but the hotel needs to improve both service and cleanliness to truly...

I stayed here at the beginning and end of a two-week trip to Uzbekistan, and I will stay here again the next time I visit. The location is perfect, an easy walk to the metro, museums, restaurants, and parks. "The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good location, stuff is very friendly. Clean. Breakfast is good enough, and also you can ask to prepare especially for you, The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Most of all, however, all of the staff members were wonderful, who went out of his way to make sure I had an incredible trip. Every morning at breakfast he made sure I was satisfied, he ordered taxis for me, he made my reservation for my second stay at the hotel, and he even checked in with me throughout my trip to see if there was anything he could help with--even when I was in other cities.
