My husband and I just returned to our hotel after an AMAZING dinner! I am Australian, so ordered my favorite - rack of lamb. It was perfectly cooked!, tender, juicy, full of flavour! We had Spinach Samsas which were the best we’ve had since coming to Uzbekistan: the pastry was light and the spinach filling rich and delicious. Our beet salad was A+. as was my husband’s marinated chicken. Had creamy strawberry-banana smoothies for dessert. We have one more day in Tashkent, and will go back for dinner tomorrow night, which we never do, as we like to try new places. Our 2 waiters were very patient as we were trying to narrow our choices in the extensive menu, and were attentive and friendly. Americans will be surprised by sizes ))) Waiters are very gentle, professional and weared accordingly. By the way they are English speaking. Very nice outside sitting. 2nd floor you can send children to play under controll of babysitting personnel. Going to sign? No problem. First , their Tarhun (Georgian tarragon soft drink) was too sugary and artificial, second their coffee drink “Glacé” was so hot that the ice cream melted, creating a weird sickly foam. At last, we ordered 2 pizzas that arrived to our table cold. It was also dry and unpleasant. Overall their manager would insist for us to stay but at the same time doing nothing to fix those issues...
