NEST INN — Hotel in Tashkent

-Everything was just great. Fantastic location. The Nearest metro station is about 12-15 minutes away. Many nice restaurants in the vicinity ranging from fine dining to smaller eateries. I Even saw a karaoke place. The room was spacious, comfortable with all amenities, kettle, toiletries etc. The wifi is excellent. Shower pressure is great. The staff is really kind and courteous. Kamal the manager speaks perfect english and is available to help with advice so that was really handy. They have their own grocery in the building so you can pick up any items you need including breads, sandwiches,burgers, cold meats things like that if you wanted to throw together a quick breakfast on the cheap. The only negative I can think of and it's not a really big deal but i wish there was like a night lamp on the bed side table or switch for the main lights by the bed. First impressions were not the best, but time has somehow made our eyes less picky. Our room was on 4th floor, stairs only. Just opened the door to see its low ceiling (not much higher than 2 m) and weird air-conditioning position (less than 1 m from the headboard). Weak Wi-Fi signal. Based on other good reviews, I guess we were unlucky enough to get a room that is below the hotel standard. On the other hand, big bathroom, good shower, comfortable but somewhat hard mattresses, cleanliness, friendly staff and good location were on the plus side. Regarding there was no breakfast (we knew it beforehand), the big fridge was a welcoming alternative. They run a mini market on the ground floor (very fair prices) and there is also a 24/7...

The hotel is spotless, it's super clean. The facilities are new and the room was spacious. The staff is really friendly and do their best to help. We stayed when the weather was a bit cold but the room was well heated and there is an air conditioner as well. The bathroom was large, clean and well heated as well. The location is not very close to the main touristic attractions but it's around 5-10 minutes with a taxi. Overall it's an excellent price-performance hotel. The nearest metro station is almost a 15 minute walk. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but there are many restaurants that are less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
