Update: got upgraded to a suite on 2nd visit. Brilliant stuff!😄 What a world of difference from the normal rooms. Classic design but not fuddy duddy if you know what I mean. Everything looks much newer. (Room picts are for the suite) Previous review: A classic European style hotel that would bring back you back to nostalgic 60s! (Hotel was built in the 50s). Despite the upgrading in recent years, the deco remains quite dated and could do with some spruce up (especially the rooms). Still the guest rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with the standard amenities like in-room kettle for making hot beverages. The court yard and garden is pretty nice for a stroll and perhaps end up by the pool area for cocktails. The hotel has 2 restaurants. Try the grill on level 6, wonderful al fresco ambience over look the opera house and park. With the cool evening weather now, its a great place to chill and grab a dinner of delicious shashliks. PS: breakfast spreads is good. WiFi network is not so good. Keeps dropping.

The hotel is located at the most popular street if you are into theaters and museums restaurants and bars. The lobby area is very cosy neat and luxurious. Staff outside is very rude he stoped us to ask were we are going as if it was the presidential building and didn't even great, ones I told him I need to ask something he said we may go and the reception. Reception is lacking people, when we arrived there was a big group and only one was assisting that group and for newcomers none cared considering the price of the hotel. What I wanted is a praying area for my friend that was on holidays in Tashkent and concierge gave him a praying mat and showed a prayer room which was very welcoming.

One of the Best hotel at Tashkent it is strategically located in the city center. 5mins away from Tashkent city mall and also loca loca bar. The hotel has this odd money vibes from the carpeting. Rooms were kept clean and service from all the staffs are highly recommended. Very fast laundry service in the room. The gym have plenty of equipment as u can see from the video. Additionally within the hotel itself there’s an ATM and money changer for your currency dealings. Swimming pool and sauna is bailable and there’s even a hair salon within the compound. Great stay for individuals and also family. Worth the price

We had a disastrous one nights stay in which nobody seemed to know what was going on in the hotel; the roof terrace was closed despite us being told it was open and we could eat up there; the restaurant was closed despite us being told we could eat in there, and when we got there a member of staff directed us back to the roof terrace......which was closed. We were supposed to get a breakfast in a box because of leaving early, but were told they didn't do that. When we were directed to the early breakfast bar I found a basket of elderly cherries and a few apricots that I would have thrown out, and some elderly bread and a couple of small croissants. Also found 5 yogurts but no spoons. The barely awake bar chap eventually found ONE plastic spoon, fork and knife set. I had a 'chat' with whoever was in charge then and he said he'd phone our tour guide later, (who was actually standing there with us and talking) but of course, he never did. As we left the hotel some member of staff said that they were looking forward to seeing us again and would make our stay special. We had to go again for our last night and it seemed that nothing had changed. We were given the same sort of room with not even a bowl of fruit in it. I asked to see the manager and got a very nice young deputy manager, called Nizom, who was on the end of my anger. And guess what....he knew nothing about what had gone on before. He managed to give us an upgrade to a junior suite and a big plate of fruit, but I had to go and complain to get it. This hotel is really rather nice, even if the furniture is somewhat old fashioned; but the managers should be having a meeting with the staff every morning so that everyone knows what is going on and no one misdirects guests. There is a load of room for improvement here, in how the staff are dealt with and in how they deal with guests. Oh, and the breakfast, in the restaurant...

Beautiful Comfortable hotel with Hospitable Staff

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. firstly, I would like to praise the staff for being so nice and hospitable. All of them approached us well and were very quick and helpful. I would like to specially thanks Munir, Ahmed, Abdul latif , Kudrat , ziyodullah , omar and all staff for their service and hospitality. The hotel was very clean and hygienic. Hand sanitizers, face masks were provided everywhere at the hotel. All staff members wore mask and gloves all times. The hotel has a very cozy feel to it. the rooms were well arranged, neat and comfortable. Heating system was perfect, and our balcony had a nice view. The room had all the necessary items like bathrobes, fridge, toiletries and a safe. the breakfast was amazing had a lot of options and Korean cuisines included everything served hot and well arranged as you can see from pics. The location of the hotel is not too far from the airport and is surrounded with good restaurants and other amenities. hotel has saloon, gym, money exchange, gift shop etc. the staff recommended us good restaurants and were always ready to help us out for taxi and other services. Room service was very quick as well. If I were to come back again to Tashkent I will Definitely...

Review of Lotte City Hotel, Tashkent

I recently stayed at Lotte City Hotel in Tashkent, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out—whether it was the front desk assisting with check-in, the concierge offering great local recommendations, or the restaurant staff ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Speaking of dining, the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious! The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of fresh, high-quality dishes, blending international and local flavors. The à la carte options were equally impressive, with beautifully presented meals made from premium ingredients. Every bite was a delight!

Overall, Lotte City Hotel exceeded my expectations with its excellent service, outstanding food, and comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tashkent and look forward to staying here...
