Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Da Nang and unfortunately, it did not meet even basic expectations. Here’s my honest experience: The bed was uncomfortable, making it hard to get a proper night’s rest. The hotel had an unpleasant smell throughout our stay, especially in the lobby area. There was no proper storage space for luggage or clothes—no wardrobe, just minimal shelves. A restaurant next door stays open past midnight with loud music, making it very hard to sleep. The strong oily smell from the restaurant constantly filled the hotel lobby, especially because the main entrance is often left open. We requested for an iron and ironing board, but they only gave us an iron. With no proper surface, we had to iron on the bed, and unfortunately the sheet got burned. We were then charged 500,000 VND for the bedsheet—which felt unfair considering they didn’t provide the right tools.

The Brilliant Majestic Hotel provided us with a delightful stay. Its location, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, made it incredibly convenient. Not forgetting that hotel is situated in quiet area far away from the crazy karaoke/party bars, so you won’t hear music at night. The rooms were not only nice but also boasted comfortable beds. It’s true that room doesn’t have fitout wardrobe, but still we had place for our suitcases. One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, offering several options (few local dishes and 2 options with eggs) providing a great start to the day. The hotel's coffee was great too, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The ambiance, with its charming outdoor sitting area surrounded by trees and flowers, added to the relaxing atmosphere, to chill a bit from the busy streets in Da Nang. While the swimming pool was on the smaller side, it served as a refreshing option to cool down during the day. I have just spent two weeks as a guest in the delightful family run Brillant Majestic Hotel in Da Nang.||The hotel is very modern, comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and very helpful.||Had some rainy days during my stay, and I definitely appreciated being able to spend some time in a spacious and clean room, which felt almost like being at home.||Because of the bad weather, I also had frequent meals at the hotel's restaurant, enjoying both delicious Vietnamese dishes and Western cuisine.
