I wanted to order one of their "Highly recommend special dishes". The waitress looked kind of frustrated and started typing on Google translate, she wrote "it will take a really long time". Then I ordered another dish and asked if I could have some veggie spring rolls as a starter. They only had a set of 6 rolls for 120k (which seemed quite expensive since so far they've been 40-70k in all other places) and I asked if I could have a half portion. The waitress didn't understand so she asked another waitress there who said 6 is too big for one person and no, not possible to have smaller portion. Ok, I then ordered just veggie noodles and a lemon soda. The food came pretty soon, my lemon soda didn't, so I waited. And waited. And waited. Then a young waiter noticed me not beginning to eat, run to me apologizing and brought me a small bowl for the food. I asked about my drink, he was surprised and asked "you want to order?" I explained that I ordered already. He went back and again I waited. And waited. Finally, another waiter brought the lemon soda. What a hassle. The food was edible but not that good that I would go there again. This is my third time in Vietnam and have eaten in numerous places and there's never been this much hassle with the service. And as I'm often traveling solo most restaurants have been kind enough to make me smaller portions of the starters they have...
Read moreThe food here is honestly some of the freshest and tastiest local food I’ve had in Vietnam. You can really tell they use good, local ingredients and care about what they serve.
What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone is super friendly and attentive—they make you feel like you’re at home, not just another customer. You can feel they genuinely care about you having a good time.
Another thing that makes this restaurant special is the way the management treat their staff. I noticed right away that they care just as much about their team as they do about the guests. It creates a really warm and positive atmosphere that you don’t find everywhere. That’s a big reason why I keep coming back. 🍻
The restaurant itself is always clean and decorated nicely. Sometimes they even have live music with local artists, which turns a regular meal into something memorable. It’s the kind of place that makes travel special.
I want to say a big thank you to the management and all the staff for making my visit to Da Nang one of my best memories from Vietnam🇻🇳 🇳🇴
I’ve added some photos from one of my meals and some other favorites from the menu. I’ll really miss this place and the people when I head back home.
Thanks for...
Read moreI highly recommend Nhà An for authentic Vietnamese food. The ambiance is stylish with calm background music, and evenings feature live traditional Vietnamese performances — a lovely cultural touch. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Standout dishes include the fresh Morning Glory with Garlic, comforting Seaweed Soup with Tofu, tender Steamed Squids, and Tuna Sashimi Salad (loaded with greens, veggies, and sesame-dressed saku tuna). Their Vegan Burger (zucchini, pickled cucumber, carrot) with fries and tomato salad is also excellent, and Passion Fruit Smoothies are perfectly refreshing. Practical perks: a menu with photos and descriptions in five languages, plus card payments (UnionPay/Rosselkhozbank accepted without extra fees — great for Russian visitors). Minor downsides: no hand towels in the restroom, and a lack of power outlets near tables for charging devices, which remote workers might miss. Still, a top choice for delicious local cuisine in a...
