Hải Sản Phủi — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Hải Sản Phủi, located just a short stroll from Mỹ Khê Beach. The location couldn’t be more convenient, I was staying nearby, and it felt like such a hidden gem right on my doorstep. What struck me immediately was that most of the diners here were local Vietnamese families and groups of friends, which is always a good sign when it comes to authentic food.

The menu is centred on seafood, and the prices are astonishingly reasonable. most dishes are around 89,000 VND. We ordered a generous spread: prawn fried rice, grilled scallops, a Vietnamese-style hotpot, grilled fish, stir-fried beef with asparagus, and grilled squid. Every single dish was delicious in its own way, freshly prepared and bursting with flavour.

The highlight for me was definitely the grilled scallops. They were topped with a sprinkle of crushed nuts, which added a beautiful layer of texture and a subtle, nutty richness that elevated the natural sweetness of the scallops. The combination of the tender, juicy seafood with the slight crunch and aroma from the nuts was simply outstanding. The prawn fried rice was fragrant and perfectly seasoned, the grilled squid was smoky and tender without being chewy, and the hotpot was hearty and full of depth. The beef with asparagus was another pleasant surprise, tender slices of beef paired with the crunch of fresh asparagus, creating a perfect balance.

Service was equally impressive. The waitress who looked after us was warm, attentive, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. There was a genuine friendliness that made us feel welcome throughout the meal.

Overall, Hải Sản Phủi is a fantastic restaurant that I can wholeheartedly recommend. The combination of great food, affordable prices, a prime location near the beach, and such delightful service made this one of my favourite meals in Đà Nẵng. I came to the restaurant at about 22:10 pm, and asked the staff if credit card is available. He said “yes”, so I moved to see the menu outside.
