Stayed here for 12 nights on our first trip to Vietnam. Very close to airport no more than 20 mins in taxi which would cost no more than £5.00. VERY helpful and friendly 3 ladies that worked reception most of the time we were there . Booked our trips with ease and pleasure offered to get us taxis manager friendly . Breakfast limited but good &quick mattress uncomfy for amount of nights but more than worth the money spent . They went out of their way to treat us specially and make us feel welcome . Fruit basket to room and then yoghurts. Constructions going on in building beside them and they offered to swap us rooms which was amazing given it isn't their fault the construction. It's starts at 7am tho although looks close to being finished . Local food is very nice encourage you to try. Danang beach is approx 15 to 20 mins walk from hotel further along same beach's area you will find my khe beach. Again a taxi won't cost more than £3.00. dirty fingers bar has good food and live music and friendly bar staff also recommend little Tokyo. Food amazing as are the staff. Jammin the darts bar at the end of the street is very under rated was quiet when we were in but the staff were amazing and the food Excellent . If you visit you must try. Recommend ban ah hills and the cable car ride. Cham island visit via speed boat you get to snorkel and swim and visit Hoi an at night it's beautiful with all the lanterns. Hope this helps you want to visit Vietnam. We loved it and will certainly be back in the future. Claire...
Read moreThis hotel looked great in the pictures and perhaps it once was. My friend and I were looking forward to escaping the crazy busy time in Hanoi and enjoy some relaxing pool time. We booked a twin room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Upon arrival we were shown to our room and given a breakfast voucher. The first thing I did was look out the window at our expected pool view. Only to be faced with a pool full of debris from the opposite building, which was under construction. Feeling rather tired and deflated we stayed the night and thought maybe we could stick it out and just go to the beach. However the next day construction started at 6:30 am from EVERY angle. As a person recovering from migraines I knew this place was not going to work out. We explained our issues with the manager and he was very understanding to our situation and gladly worked with us. We paid for the night we stayed and he refunded the 3 nights we had booked. I am grateful for the understanding and had the construction not been an issue we were happy with the service, the staff were friendly and the room was fine and had a comfortable foam mattress. Breakfast was ok and I enjoyed the...
Read moreIt was somewhat okay, but I would not stay there again.
Pros: There's a pool (though the pool could use a cleaning and some re-tiling) Near good street food The room was big. When they do a breakfast buffet, breakfast is not so bad. (In the 4 days we stayed there, it only happened once.)
Cons: Moldy bathrooms that are more mold than tile. (We checked out some other rooms, they all had moldy bathrooms.) Moldy pool tiles When I ordered my complimentary breakfast, I was often given the wrong dish. ie I would order an the Asian #2 (an egg and baguette) and get the Western #2 (cereal). There are so many numbers in existence why can't they use #1-5 for Asian dishes and #6-10 for Western ones? There was a woman in the lobby who would hassle me about buying her trinket jewelry every time she saw me. The walls are not sound proof at all. I could hear the guy next door snoring at night and yelling at his kids...
