Hacoda Homestay — Hotel in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province

The staff here are polite. The area is good but a bike is needed to get around, taxis are a bit of a rip off and charge tourists a ridiculous amount, at least the bike will give you freedom.

Rooms aren't exactly as advertised and the pictures need updating. The level of cleaning needs to be improved, I have attached some photos which highlight my concerns with the cleaning and maintenance. Dirty under the bed, dusty fan, mould on the air conditioning unit, and faulty shower fixtures are shown, but also the bin in the bathroom is broken and each evening an army of ants traverse across the yellow stripe in the room into the bathroom, we also had one cockroach which we think came in though the gap in the door.

Had a great 4 night stay in this homestay. The homestay is centrally located on the island, literally in front of the market yet it is very quiet at night so you can get a good nights sleep. It is also walking distance from the beach, main attractions and good restaurants in town. Rooms are spacious and clean, with AC and cool design. I didn't actually stay here because the ferries were shut down due to weather BUT the owner has been extremely helpful in answering all my questions via Facebook Messenger about the island, how to get there, prices, and even holding a room for me.
