Hotel 199 — Hotel in Cần Thơ

I stayed here for two nights on 25 and 26 June 2019. Located no more than a 10 minute walk from the Can Tho wharf on the Hau River (a Mekong distributary), Hotel 199 served the purpose – quietness, a sound night’s sleep and good bathroom facilities. The day time reception person has very pleasant and helpful. He was willing, obliging and able to arrange my onward travel to Chau Doc. There was effective WiFi available in my room. One gem from the Hotel 199 was the fulfilment of my on-line booking request for a non-smoking room. It was dutifully and willingly fulfilled by attempting to hide the room’s ash tray underneath the table behind the rubbish bin. Hotel 199 looked a better option than Hotel 34B...

Before i give you information about the hotel, i need to thank the staff for their support! I have been already in Ho Chi Minh City when i realized that i forgot my purse with money in one of the bedrooms. I contacted them via mail and it took not even 24 hours until the purse was delivered to the new hotel in Ho Chi Minh City - that was awesome!!
