Very clean, good value, friendly couple (and children) were great hosts who speak good English. Hotel has nice lobby area along relatively quiet street, and elevator/lift for easy access to higher floors. Have passport and visa ready when you arrive.||||Our double room had corner balcony with unobstructed 180 degree view to west and south (away from city center); can watch sunset, and in morning see early morning light colors hit the city. Room was large, mostly quiet with occasional distant traffic noise (comes with the great view), very comfortable queen bed with comforter for cool Dalat nights, clean bathroom, hot shower, fan, refrigerator, water pot, good wifi, cable tv, soap/shampoo/toothbrushes, towels, house flip-flops, small closet with mirror to hang clothes, small table and small bench. ||||Room had no safe and no A/C, but A/C not needed as nights are very cool and days moderate (early March). No breakfast, some cold beverages sold in lobby. ||||Hotel was a few minutes walk to many restaurants and coffee shops, and 20 to 30 minutes walk to Dalat City Center and many city sights. Dalat has some of the best tasting coffee in the world, and a cafe is seemingly always in sight.||||This hotel was perfect for our Dalat visit. Hosts are genuinely friendly, giving suggestions for our stay and the remainder of our Vietnam trip, and making us feel at home...
Read moreOne of the BEST experiences I've had at a hotel. Tien (the owner and receptionist) speaks EXCELLENT English, and thoroughly enjoys listening to her guests - she is an absolute ray of sunshine; calm, patient and extremely helpful. Her husband, Viet, speaks equally excellent English and is the receptionist at night.
The hotel is situated centrally to a LOT of coffee shops and restaurants, and all other establishments are a nearby bike ride away. A bus stop is also a very short walk away from the hotel.
It has 4 storeys, the 4th being the rooftop that greets you with excellent views. One can opt for the stairs or use the elevator, which is found at the end of the passage.
The room, itself, was incredibly clean and spacious. One could double lock the door, as can be seen in one of the pictures. An iron and TV were also available. The only thing I would suggest, that might be a slight improvement, is having an extra refuse bin in the room. There is only one, in the bathroom. Additionally, the basin's tap only provides cold water but, thankfully, the main shower mechanism is LITERALLY right next to it and, provided you wait around 1 minute, you are met with blistering hot water.
Thank you for such an enjoyable stay, for your kindness and for being overwhelmingly friendly! I truly wish you a fully booked...
Read moreI stayed at Hai Long Vuong Hotel for a few days, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, close to attractions, and the room had a nice view of the surroundings, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff deserves special mention for their kindness and support. I had an issue with my pre-booked VIP Sleep Bus transfer — the car didn’t arrive at the hotel as planned, which made me anxious about missing my bus. Thankfully, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help. They calmed me down, arranged alternative transportation, and ensured I reached the bus station on time. Their professionalism and care truly made a difference.Despite the minor hiccup, I highly recommend this hotel for its cozy vibe, great service, and dedication to guest satisfaction. Thank you to the team for making my stay comfortable and...
