At the time of writing, there is ongoing construction work happening directly next door – from 6am to 6pm, including Sundays. You can see it happening through large holes in the building, which also let in a lot of dust and debris. I understand that it’s no fault of the hosts, but I do feel that this should be disclosed. I suggest asking to inspect your room before committing to paying. I had paid for a full, non-refundable week and immediately regretted it.
The balcony door in my first room could not open, the fridge didn’t work, there was no microwave as advertised, and the toilet smelled rank. I eventually moved up 3 floors after messaging the ‘hotline’ for two days, but the constant drilling and hammering was just as loud. I didn’t understand how to turn on the shower. I tried multiple things. It’s on the 14th floor. There’s a free airport transfer. Late check out 3pm is perfect. The location is NOT nearby the airport. If you want to travel to Chengdu city center, you must first travel back 23km to the airport to take a metro or take a taxi of 元150-200. So everything is really great except the location. But there’s restaurants and supermarkets within meters, which...
