Bellerive Hoi An Hotel & Spa — Hotel in Hội An

My partner and I had to cancel our booking at another hotel in Hoi An due to some inconveniences, and we happened to stumble across Bellerive whilst searching for another. We are so glad we did! From our first interaction with the rooms division manager, James (Thang Nguyen) via email, we knew we would be well looked after. The level of professionalism the staff here have is outstanding. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly at reception and the staff took time to explain what activities the hotel had on offer and the facilities we could use etc. Our room was incredible! We stayed in the Deluxe River King room which was very spacious and the view was stunning. Not to mention the cleanliness was amazing, and even the furnishings made it feel very homely. We were welcomed to our room with a very kind note, and a bowl of fresh local fruit and cake! Every day, the housekeeping team made sure our room was spotless and provided us with anything extra we needed whenever we asked, such as water. Each morning we were able to dine at the breakfast buffet. The restaurant is beautiful, and there was always a large selection of food to choose from. We especially loved all the fresh fruit on offer such as mango and passion fruit which costs an arm and a leg back in NZ! It was nice also having hot food to choose from when we didn't want normal Western breakfast food, such as congee, pho, stir fries, and dumplings. The staff always offered to get us tea or coffee in the morning, and remembered our order after the first night of staying. We enjoyed swimming in the large clean pool when it was hot, and also really enjoyed being able to play pool (billiards) and darts whenever we wanted. The hotel also had complimentary bikes for us to use every day which was great. One night we were too tired to go out for dinner, so we ordered room service. The food was piping hot and delicious! We ordered the ribs and popcorn chicken which were both very tasty. Each day, the hotel offered complimentary rides to and from Hoi An town, or An Bang beach. These rides were great value to have as the hotel is quite a ride from the central old town area, so they saved us a bit of money for travel. The drivers were all so kind, especially Do (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling!). He always went out of his way to provide extra great service such as giving me his umbrella to use when the weather turned on us. We initially booked in for 10 nights, but ended up staying an extra two nights. We greatly appreciate James' kind service as he went above and beyond for us, and the rest of the team for always making us feel welcomed. I cannot recommend this place enough! All I can say is you will be greatly taken care of if you choose to stay here, and that you won't regret it. It was definitely the best hotel we've ever stayed in. In future, we would come back to Bellerive and recommend staying here to everyone else.

We stayed 3 nights at Hoi An Bellerive Resort & Spa and had a truly wonderful experience!

The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful—when our rainfall shower wasn’t working, they quickly fixed it. My boyfriend wished the water pressure could be a little stronger, and while the modern short glass shower divider looked sleek, a wider curtain might have been more practical. The room bathrobes were a nice touch—the satin felt luxurious, but it kept slipping off, and towel-style robes (with larger sizes available) would have been more comfortable. The gym didn’t have AC during our stay, but the team told us they are working on getting it installed, which will be a great improvement.

The resort itself is beautiful and well-kept, especially considering it’s only 3 years old. The big, deep pool was a highlight for us—we swam twice and loved it! Breakfast was delicious every morning, and I especially enjoyed the fried rice and beef from the dinner menu—perfectly seasoned.

We also loved the little touches that made the stay unique: feeding the koi fish, playing pool on the 3rd floor, and meeting the managers’ adorable Pomeranian and the stray cat who has made the hotel its home. The staff even weighed our luggage before we left for Saigon, which was so thoughtful since I was worried about the airline weight limit.

Although we didn’t get to use the free bikes (monsoon season weather, though we were lucky with just a little rain), we appreciated the free shuttle service to Hoi An Ancient Town and the Hoi An Memories Show.

If I had to suggest improvements, maybe the mini golf could be expanded (right now it only has two holes—it would be fun with some obstacles or more variety).

Overall, despite a few small areas for improvement, this resort exceeded our expectations. The combination of warm hospitality, great amenities, and beautiful surroundings makes it a 5-star stay for us....

Our recent stay at Bellerive Hoi An with a group of five friends was an absolute delight! We couldn't have asked for a more positive and happy experience. Not only did we enjoy the luxurious 3-bedroom villa and impeccable service, but we also had the pleasure of celebrating special occasions during our stay.

What truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible staff at Bellerive Hoi An. We were fortunate to meet Ms. Hang, the Spa Supervisor, whose kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on us. She made sure our spa experiences were truly memorable. Additionally, Mr. Qui, who drove us to Ba Na Hills, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing us with refreshing bottled iced water throughout the journey. We were also grateful to Mr. Long, the Pool Attendant, who personally delivered fresh pool towels to our villa each day, taking care of every detail.

Furthermore, we had the pleasure of celebrating both our anniversary and my birthday during our stay. To our surprise and absolute delight, James, the Manager, made our celebrations truly special. He surprised me with a birthday cake and beautifully decorated our room, creating a magical atmosphere. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that added an extra layer of joy to our experience.

The convenient location of Bellerive Hoi An allowed us to explore the ancient town's historical treasures and enjoy leisurely strolls along the nearby beach.

Our time at Bellerive was a truly positive and happy experience. The luxurious villa, exceptional service, and surprises during our celebrations exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Bellerive Hoi An to anyone seeking a memorable and joyful experience in Vietnam.
