We recently stayed at a hotel close to NiA for 10 days, and on our third day we discovered this delightful restaurant. This became our go-to restaurant, and we enjoyed having dinner with them nightly there on after. The owners, Đức and Thảo ,and their family were absolutely delightful and we quickly became friends with them. We would often visit late afternoon and enjoy a cool beverage on the terrace, or enjoy a delicious dinner and after the dinner have a glass of wine (very good!) on the terrace. The dinners were so enjoyable that we asked friends that live in DaNang to join us one night.
Some of our favorite dishes are as follows: ComTãm (rice, grilled pork with egg, my partners favorite), Nem, delicious as a starter, Bò Bún, a classic, Mý Xáo Gà (stir-fried noodles with chicken) this was a favorite of mine and you can substitute ingredients to your liking, Salad Cá Ngù (tuna salad) and Rau Muõng Xào (Morning glory stirfry) and Cài This Xào (bok choy stir fry).
You can also ask them to substitute or possible suggest a dish for them to make, depending on how busy they are. The customer service is truly top notch.
I cannot say enough about our wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing Đức, Thảo and family on our next visit! ...
Read moreWe went to NiA on our first night in Hoi An. It was only 100m from our hotel. We were welcomed by Duc and his wife Thao. Duc has French roots, thus the partly French menu. We only tried the Vietnamese dishes, which were really fantastic. We came back many times, each time enjoying the fresh and tasty dishes. On our final day, we even got Thao to prepare us a lobster, cooked with garlic and butter. It was not on the meny, so she had to be notified a day in advance. Best lobster I have ever tasted 🦞😋 NiA is one of the gems of Hoi An where you feel almost invited to their home and also get well prepared food. A true family restaurant. I can highly recommend it and will definately come back! Ohh, and Duc serves a very good chilled French redwine when compared to the VERY...
Read moreIf you are tired of choosing restaurants in Hoi An old quarter, this is absolutely a great choice (esp. if u have kids). The restaurant offer Vietnamese and French food and both are authentic and delicious. I have spaghetti for my baby and the chef knew it and he removed garlic and pepper. He also brought back when seeing me finish my kid meal. They also play with me kid and give him markers to draw. The food maybe depends on my personal taste but their service is 5 star. We feel so welcomed at their restaurant. If u have a small kid too, you know that it is not easy to enjoy your meal and keep eyes on your kids. But here my kid feel free to play around and babbles as he want :3
This family restaurant is worth to get...
