Golden Horse Villa (Villa Ngựa Vàng) — Hotel in Hội An

This hotel is perfect for people who want an affordable, comfortable, homely stay. ||The rooms are very modern, with a large, comfy king size bed (we stayed in the double room). The air conditioning unit is fantastic, the bathroom is spacious and the shower was great. ||There’s a small wooden locker for those expensive personal items and an open wardrobe with hangers for all your clothing needs. ||The room has extras, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner. There is also a mini fridge to keep water or those lovely beers cold! ||They clean the room each day and refill the fridge with two bottles of water free of charge.||The breakfast is adequate, with 5 options to choose from, with complementary fruit, tea and coffee. ||They offer free bike hire so getting around Hoi An is easy. There’s two small convenience stores located across the road from the hotel, and the hotel offers a self service on water and beers, which get noted and added to your bill at the end. ||The WiFi is excellent and they offer a laundry service which is extremely efficient.||The staff are lovely, although their English isn’t great, but we still got by just fine!||For the price, you can’t really get any better than this. This is the most friendly and helpful accommodation we have had in our long journey through Vietnam and that is a big statement as where ever we have stayed or dined we have been made welcome but the Golden Horse Villa is a standout. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with cable TV, mini fridge, toiletaries supplied and showers with plenty of hot water. The villa has a good clean pool with towels provided. It is conveniently situated about 5 minutes by taxi to Hoi An Old Town on the river and An Bang and Cue Dai beaches. There are plenty of great restaurants in a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride radius plus exceptional dentists, optometrists and doctors and hospitals. In walking distance from the villa is a lake, Tiger market, chemist, hairdressers, nail and beauty salons and many coffee shops, street food vendors plus directly across the road from the villa are 4 mini marts with a varied supply of food and beverages and many other items. Also there is a fruit market across the road. The best part though is the cost for accommodation. It is very very reasonable for what you get. Cannot recommend the Golden Horse Villa...

We booked this hotel due to so many great recommendations on trip advisor... but when we arrived it was much more than great! We are traveling Asia with our young family and haven’t felt more at home with this amazing family. We only booked a standard room as we have all been sleeping in one bed as we do at home and when we arrived they upgraded us to the super deluxe room. The prices of these rooms are incredible roughly just over £11 anyway. We booked all of our excursions with the hotel as they were great at giving advice. They have a perfect little swimming pool great for all ages. Free bicycles to travel around Hoi An. Great location about 15 minutes walk from walking street.
