Grand Holiday Villa — Hotel in Hội An

This hotel is a very welcome surprise. Located in a busy area just north of the Old Town with very easy access (I could walk it in 15 minutes). There are a huge number of good restaurants and bars very close to the hotel. The room was magnificent, in the eves of the block with lovely blue decoration and a warm feeling. The beds were extremely comfortable, clean and changed daily. The bathroom is very clean, well stocked with a relaxing and refreshing shower that had hot water on demand. There is a small balcony, a desk and table to complete the feeling of a small apartment. Best of all the resources of the hotel is the staff. The sister and brother at reception are gorgeous people, full of kindness, help and pleasant conversation. They arranged laundry at a very good price, shuttle transport and excursions. Excellent hospitality! Arrived 11am and the room was ready for checking in. The staff helped me to carry luggage up. The room is exactly the same as the photo. Nice design! Bed and pillow is comfortable. Nice balcony! The swimming pool water is clean & cooling for a hot afternoon. As I have no plan on arrival day, I asked the staff to recommend good local food and places to visit. With the free bicycle provided, I got to taste local noodle at the nice restaurant near ancient town, then excellent salted coffee at Garden Coffee cafe beside a scenic padi field and night scenic walk at the busy ancient town. The boss, Anh was very helpful. He recommended to visit the beach early morning for sunrise. Then the vegetable farm to see farmers working in the morning. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Comfy bed with silent air conditioning which I slept very well. The white blue color room design looks very relaxed and holiday mood. The room has kettle, hair dryer, fridge, toileties, instant coffee/tea, drinking water and safety box. The room is very clean and modern, I especially like the design of clothes airer. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. They gave good advice of local restaurants. They provide free bicycle, bus and tour booking. The swimming pool is super clean too, which is a bonas point. Also there’s an adorable small dog at night. He is super cute！Restaurants and supermarkets just within few minutes’ walk, I'm surprised there’s some nice vegetarian restaurants in that area.
