Update (Jun 2025): Have just holidayed in Hoi An again, and visited Kayo on many more occasions. Pleased to say it is still one of our favourite coffee spots - fell in love with the salt coffee this year and also the mango/banana smoothie. Good prices and service and a great spot to sit and watch the passing traffic.

Previous Review (2024) My wife and I walked past Kayo many times on the way to and from our hotel before deciding to drop in and try one of their coconut iced coffees. We were warmly greeted by the manager and given refreshing complimentary glasses of cold tea as soon as we were seated; there are both indoor and outdoor seating options. The coconut coffees were delicious; equal to any we've had elsewhere and very reasonably priced at 39k We can also recommend the Blueberry smoothie (39k). These guys have seriously good coffee. I have tried the cappuccino and last night the cafe den (black coffee). Both were excellent and I would rate as being amongst the best in Hoi An (I have been here for 2 years). They are better priced than comparable coffee shops, have a big range of drinks, modern coffee shop, comfortable furniture, and they speak English very well. Professional service, polite and friendly. I have also had a carrot juice and it wasn't watered down! Highly recommended. Very popular.
