Rooms||The rooms were new, very clean and a nice size. They were spaced out as well so you didn't hear your neighbours. The AC was good and the fridge was quiet and tucked away in a cupboard. The bed was awesome!||||2. Location - I have stayed closer to town and yes it was closer to walk everywhere but the noise and smells were intense and always there (mostly the beeping of cars/bikes). This villa was an easy bike ride (or walk) to Old Town and to the beaches with plenty of shortcuts through the rice fields. Also taxis are cheap and easy as well. If you need to get something that the nearby minimarts, food stalls, markets, bakers or restaurants do not stock they can help you locate it and take you there on the back of a moped (which is great fun). Also the awesome Hub Hoi An coworking place is 500m up the road.||||3. Amenities - The bathrooms have shampoos and soaps and fresh towels. The free bikes are good quality and well looked after. But tall riders like myself will have to make do with a medium sized bike with the seat right up but I didn't mind. There is filtered water in the eating area to refill your bottles if you don't want to use the plastic bottled water in your room. Internet in the rooms is good and doesn't have the silly restrictions that other places have. The pool is a decent length so you can actually swim laps and not just bob about. Laundry service was good and well priced.||||4. Service - This is where the place really earns it's 5-stars. They are so friendly and helpful. Always cheerful and quick to respond to any issue you have. They will rush an umbrella to you if they see you caught in the rain. Check your tyres are pumped up before you head out for the day. Give you a lift to a barber for a haircut. Recommend which shops to go to and how much you should pay. Organise taxis. Offer you some of their food. It was wonderful!||||I'll probably come back to add to this as I remember other things but I've been traveling for 4 months throughout Asia and I've never felt more at home than I have here at the Laughter Garden...
Read moreI'm currently a digital momad and got a stay for 2 weeks at this "hostel" with a package from Hub Hoi An.||The bungalow I got in this place was clearly new and well furnished. You have a separate bathroom with hot water and a big room with a nice 2 persons bed, 2 chairs and a table, a desk with a stool and a mirror and mini fridge in a nice wooden furniture. There also is a TV screen that I haven't used.||You can order a breakfast in the morning, do your laundry here, you have free bicycle and can rent a scooter, you can enjoy the pool, you can book tours from here, well you have everything you need. You're in between the beaches and the old town which is really nice but still have a lot of restaurants and cie in the area.||The owners are a really nice family that were always smiling and ready to help and one of them spoke well English.||I can only recommend this place for...
Read moreWe checked in to Laughter Garden Villas after a couple of nights at one of the party hostels in Hoi An, 2 weeks into our backpacking trip. We were looking for somewhere quiet, relaxing and private to recuperate; and we couldn't have picked a better place! The rooms were easily the nicest I have stayed in in Vietnam, huge beds, efficient air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with towels and all the travel extras you would expect from a fancy hotel. The pool was very nice and the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond what we expected, they booked our bus to our next destination for us, cooked us a traditional breakfast and many more extras to make our stay the most comfortable. Couldn't recommend Laughter Garden Villas more highly and would definitely...
