I have no idea why this place gets such good reviews.
We checked in without showing any id (I offered my passport) just walked us to room. Booked 2 nights via hotel.com but left after 1
Room has electrical wires hanging from the wall / light switches that do nothing / no soap only hand sanitiser / tv doesn’t work / no pool / two random chairs in middle of room that take up so much space and not really useful at all.
Owners smoke so area with breakfast smells of smoke. Hands don’t look clean and was a bit nervous about eating breakfast
Not a place for kids. So we left. Had paid 2 nights and was happy to lose second night but they refused to let us leave as said hadn’t paid. I had receipts from hotels.com showing owner she doesn’t speak English so called 2 different people who said I have to pay. I had 2 cranky tired kids who were over the situation. I spoke to hotels.com who were great and said pay keep receipt and and we will refund you.
So I had to walk 30 min round trip in mid day sun to get cash out to pay for our stay. Got back to hotel and paid and asked for receipt. I wrote my name on top of receipt and they said oh that’s your name we received your money…
I was very upset kids were cranky.
I am so glad we left. I paid $80 aud a night for a place that should have paid less than $30…
I would never stay here again. While I was trying to leave another western man was trying to check in and they had no record of his booking and he was raising safety issues with one of the rooms up the stairs
Gobsmacked people love this place. So many other better / nicer...
Read moreThe family were so lovely and made me feel very welcome. The decor reflects the name, the room was spacious, everywhere was kept super clean/tidy, the breakfast was yummy, with lots of options to choose from. I slept best here out of everywhere I have stayed in Vietnam. The location is great with just a couple of minutes walk to An Bang beach, restaurants, bars & mini marts. You can pay by card or cash, however, the card machine doesn't accept contactless payments. I wanted to extend however, they were fully booked so I left my luggage at the property for the day & struggled to get a Grab to collect me when I returned so both husband & wife took one of my bags each on their scooters and me on the back and drove me to my next homestay - it was so kind & I will be forever grateful! Thank you so much for such a relaxed stay in your...

Mango and banana trees in the garden. And a little fish pond out the back garden . The daily market is so close but it starts early in the morning. Best thing was the beach is two minutes walk. . the can get you bicycles if want to sight see . And the traffic not as bad as Hoi an itself. . We will definitely return. Restraunts plentiful...
