Worst ever meal we had in this whole 6 nights stay. Service was so so so slow in the evening. My son couldn’t eat the cheese sandwich they served which was splattered with ketchup and inserted veggies that’s not supposed to be in a cheese sandwich. After pointing it out, she proceeded to charge me and after a few more moments of discussion then only she gave a discount, we left the sandwich practically uneaten except for 2 bites bec my son bit it and my husband bit it to try. My son thought it was strawberry jam mixed with cheese,,, for dinner!!! The pork bbq DO NOT ORDER no taste and tough meat. I wanted to get VIETNAMESE pork bbq and instead got something tasteless. The son was helpful to the mom. I do think they mean well. But food was really the worst in our whole trip and it was our last evening … ruined by mediocre food that took too long. Overall, a regret for us. Avoid if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese or some real western food… they can’t seem to...

Pleasant restaurant with a nice interior, right on the main street, perfect for people-watching. A friendly Vietnamese lady, likely the owner, explained the menu, and her English was good enough for easy ordering. We were so hungry that we ordered too much and had to take some home!

We had fresh rice paper rolls with pork, a tasty chicken noodle soup with rice noodles (great for gluten-free diet), crispy fried wontons with pork, and a delicious eggplant with coconut cream in a clay pot. Everything was excellent, and the name Mom's Restaurant truly reflects the home-cooked taste of the food. We’re glad we stopped by!

We called in here for an early dinner. I’d have to say we were both impressed. I think fresh spring rolls and morning glory are two simple signature dishes that can help define a restaurant’s standard. In this case both were excellent. The fresh spring rolls had I think a slight amount of ginger that just lifted the execution. The morning glory broth was excellent lifting the whole dish. We also did the grilled scallops and Ginger Chicken. Again both were excellent. We’ve dined in about 10 restaurants in An Bang. Moms would rank as one of our top picks. We will...
