Go here and you'll most likely experience the same. Custom breakfast times, extensive help with just about everything. You can book tours here (the well organized ones) for lower prices than the tour companies. They don't seem to have any kickbacks, they just want you to have a good time.||They have excellent suggestions for dining, albeit their number 1 suggestions are the fancier Vietnamese restaurants (around $20 per person for a 3-course meal with drinks, though well worth the money).||They will also help you book transfers, train tickets, you name it.||Free bicycles to get to the Old Town as well as a sun hat if you don't have one, and every time you return they bring you a bottle of cold water.||The breakfast is really good too, the hostess' (Quyen) sister (Bang) is a fantastic cook, serving you local specialities which tasted great, as well as a choice of Vietnamese coffee or different kinds of tea.||And the most absurdly kind thing they did: We wanted to book 2 extra nights. Unbeknownst to us, the homestay was to be unavaible for booking for the 5 days after our original 2-day booking, as the hostess went on a short trip (the husband is often away on business, and the other family members don't speak English). She told us it was no problem, made sure her husband could attend the house and left us in his care (the homestay was empty aside for us and not available on Agoda or Booking, as the husband is normally not involved in the homestay business). They did all of this for us, just because we wanted to extend our stay at the last minute. Surely this can't be arranged every time, but if they turn you don't I'm pretty damn sure they've exhausted all their options.||If there was any possibility to rate higher than 5 stars, I'd do it without a...
Read moreWent to Lila Coffee this afternoon with my mom on accident. We were walking to another cafe, but it was closed, and we saw this one next door and stopped by. ||We’re so lucky we did! ||When you enter, you’re greeted by their beautiful yard full of healthy and plentiful greenery, and there’s something that feels so welcoming about it! There wasn’t anybody outside, so we called into the house and a woman came running out to serve us. ||It was only about 11AM and there weren’t any other customers yet, so we sat in a corner and they kindly turned on 2 fans (which they moved around such that it would blow at us perfectly) to help us cool down. ||They have a good selection of drinks with many tea options. I hadn’t tried the famous Viet egg coffee yet, so I ordered it here while my|mom ordered the peach orange lemongrass tea. ||My drink was so, so delicious! It tasted a bit like tiramisu and I really enjoyed it. I hardly ever drink coffee, but this made me rethink that habit. My mom’s tea was too sweet, so maybe the fruit teas are not their specialty, but they additionally gave us 2 warm cups of jasmine tea, and it may very well be the best jasmine tea I’ve ever tasted!||Both my mom and I were shocked at how profusely jasmine-y it tasted, and we drained our cups happily. ||Both the middle aged woman and the older woman who served us were super sweet, though I can’t speak on their english as my|mom ordered for us in Viet. ||What a quaint little cafe with a lush garden! It felt a bit like visiting a relative. The ladies who helped us were all smiles and warmth. ||If I lived in Hội An, I would frequent this...
Read moreThe best place to stay in all of Hoi An. My brother and I showed up without a reservation and were instantly greeted at the gate like family returning from a trip and offered water and a warm hand-made breakfast, which each day they would offer up a local Hoi An dish which may have been some of the best food I ate in all of Vietnam. The three ladies that run this homestay are amongst the kindest, most caring people I have come across in my travels. They genuinely wanted to help make your stay comfortable and your time in Hoi An worthwhile however possible. The homestay itself is very clean and well-kept. It also gives you a glimpse of how local Vietnamese people live on a daily basis. The breakfast as mentioned was restaurant-worthy. We were given bikes daily free of charge which made it very easy to explore Hoi An and surrounding paddies and beaches. The city of Hoi An is top 5 places I have ever been, a must see. I have travelled to many places and really this is one of my fondest memories. Would recommend to anyone and don't have a single bad thing to say about...
